Tmall Home Furnishing Weekly List: Traditional categories decline, Xiaomi smart products buck the trend and win the championship

618大促前夕,天猫家居家装销售数据显示传统家居八大核心品类销额和销量环比下滑,而小米智能开关逆势飘红,在细分赛道表现出色,折射出家装消费新趋势。

On the eve of the 618 big sale, everyone seems to be holding their wallets tight and waiting for a good price.
Tmall home decoration sales data released by Aowei Cloud in the 23rd week of 2026 (June 1 to June 7) seems to confirm this.

Home Sales Data Chart

This weekly list shows that the traditional home market is declining.
The eight core categories of mattresses, quilts, ceiling lamps, pillows, eye protection lamps, showers, smart clothes drying racks, and bathroom heaters all experienced month-on-month declines in sales and volume.
Among them, sales of quilts plummeted by 32.4% month-on-month, and sales of eye protection lamps fell by 33.6%. Even the sales of recently needed mattresses fell by nearly 17% month-on-month.

Consumers no longer buy houses?
Or are you all waiting for the “fracture price” on the day of 618?
Maybe both.
But amidst all the downturn, there is an inconspicuous category that has bucked the trend and become popular, becoming the hope of the whole village – smart switches.

Data show that the sales volume of smart switches that week was 3.63 million yuan (+0.5% month-on-month), and the sales volume was 43,990 pieces (+3.1% month-on-month), becoming the only category on the list to achieve double growth.
In this segmented track, Xiaomi went crazy.

Xiaomi Smart Switch

In the field of smart switches, Xiaomi achieved sales of 1.193 million yuan in a single week, with a market share of 32.9% and a month-on-month increase of 5.3%, firmly ranking first in the category.
This means that for every three smart switches sold on Tmall, one is from Xiaomi.
In addition, in the smart clothes drying rack track, Xiaomi also captured 12.7% of the market share, ranking second in the industry.

Why can’t large-scale home furnishings sell, but Xiaomi’s smart switch can buck the trend and win the championship?
In fact, this just reflects the current new trend in home decoration consumption: emphasis on decoration and light decoration.
As consumption becomes more rational, fewer people spend tens of thousands to replace a complete set of furniture. However, spending hundreds of dollars to buy a few smart switches and transform the old lights in the home into “whole-house smart”. The demand for this kind of micro-renovation of “spending a little money to do big things” is soaring.

Xiaomi’s dominance of the list relies on its extremely terrifying price/performance ratio and the stickiness of the Mijia ecosystem.
A smart switch that costs tens of dollars apiece can be controlled with a mobile phone when attached to the wall, and can also be linked to Xiaoai classmates. This low-threshold “smart experience” is too destructive to young people.

While traditional home furnishing brands are still worried about declining sales, Xiaomi has quietly penetrated into the walls of millions of homes with these inconspicuous “smart gadgets”.
