On the 8th, Juran Smart Home (000785.SZ), the domestic home furnishing retail leader, went up to the daily limit during the session. As of the noon break, it was trading at 2.72 yuan per share, an increase of 10.12%. The closing funds on the daily limit exceeded 130 million yuan.

The change in stock price may be closely related to a piece of news.
On the news, the day before, UBTECH announced that its consumer-grade humanoid robot brand Youjie Super Bionic Humanoid Robot’s initial pre-orders had accumulated to 2,110+ units in 6 days.
This data quickly ignited the market’s imagination for the accelerated implementation of humanoid robots in business and home scenarios. Juran Smart Home, which has a clear strategic partnership with UBTECH, immediately became the focus of secondary market funds.
Back in March 2025, Juran Smart Home and UBTECH officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties agreed to jointly promote the intelligent upgrading of the smart home industry and fully integrate intelligent robots into the home industry and family scenes.
According to the agreement, Juran Smart Home plans to purchase and deploy 500 UBTECH simulated humanoid robots by the end of 2025 to enhance customer shopping experience and create new smart consumption scenarios; at the same time, it plans to sell 10,000 UBTECH robots during the strategic cooperation target period.
At that time, Wang Linpeng, the former chairman and CEO of Juran Smart Home, had high hopes for this cooperation. He said that there is huge room for imagination in the application of humanoid robots in home scenarios. In the future, there will be nanny robots, nursing robots, gardening robots, pet robots and other home robots that will become part of smart home life.
In response to today’s stock price changes, relevant personnel called Juran Smart Home as an investor. The wiring staff said that the company was concerned about the stock price limit today, and the progress of the cooperation with UBTECH on humanoid robots was being verified with the business department. If there is any need to disclose information, it will be announced after the market closes. As of now, there are no matters that should be disclosed but have not been disclosed.
However, it should be noted that the market’s enthusiasm for the “robot story” cannot erase the severe fundamental shocks and governance shocks that Juran Smart Home has experienced in the past year.
Currently, Smart Home’s performance continues to be under pressure.
According to the company’s 2025 annual report, the annual operating income was 11.144 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 14.05%; the net profit attributable to the parent company was -999 million yuan, turning from profit to loss year-on-year, which was the first loss since listing in 2019.
Entering 2026, operating pressure has not yet eased.
The first quarter financial report showed that the company’s revenue was 2.523 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 23.82%; the net profit attributable to the parent company was 62 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 70.65%.
What is even more unexpected is the huge shock to the control level of Zhijia Company.
On April 17, 2025, Juran Smart Home announced that Chairman and CEO Wang Linpeng was detained by the Wuhan Jianghan District Supervisory Committee and a case was filed.
On July 23, the company announced that the lien would be lifted and changed to “order pending investigation.” On July 27, Wang Linpeng unfortunately died at home.
This incident triggered a succession arrangement at the controlling shareholder level. Wang Linpeng’s spouse Yang Fang became the company’s new actual controller, and they still control 43.93% of the shares in total with persons acting in concert. At the operating level, the former executive president Wang Ning was appointed at the critical moment and was elected as chairman and CEO by the board of directors in August 2025, maintaining the continuity of operations at the management level.

What is worth noting is that despite many twists and turns, the strategic direction of Smart Home’s transformation into digital intelligence has not changed.
Going back to 2023, Wang Linpeng has begun to promote the construction of three major digital intelligence platforms: “Dongwo”, “Juran Designer” and “Juran Smart Home”, and achieve platform-based income by charging system usage fees, sales commissions, etc. from merchants.
In December 2024, the company’s name was changed from “Juran Home” to “Juran Smart Home” to show its firm determination to create a new consumption scenario through digital and intelligent innovation.
As we enter 2026, this transformation will continue to advance.
At an investor relations event held in May, Juran Smart Home emphasized that in the face of the huge challenges of market downturns and emergencies, it has timely adjusted its development strategy and business strategy and made every effort to consolidate its basic business base and industry leading position.
The company promotes strategic upgrades around “digital intelligence, scenario-based, globalization, and sustainable development”, proposes a “1 + 6-center service system” to promote service upgrades, and promotes model upgrades with the “Baichuan Plan”, aiming to build a deeper industry moat.
