On May 28, the 2026 Ninth Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer Technical Exchange Conference and the 2026 Sichuan-Chongqing Mechanical Engineering Society Innovation Alliance Member Day event were held grandly at the Chongqing International Expo Center.
Embodied intelligence is gradually becoming a key variable in the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry. With the theme of “Embodied Intelligence and Science and Technology Innovation – Empowering Chongqing’s Advanced Manufacturing to Take a New Leap”, this conference focused deeply on the integration of embodied intelligence and advanced manufacturing. It attracted guests from all walks of life in government, industry, academia, research and industry to gather together to discuss technological innovation and promote the transformation of results.
On the day of the event, industry experts from Chongqing Mechanical and Electrical Intelligent Manufacturing, Xiamen Tianrui Technology, Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Chongqing Industrial Intelligence Technology Research Institute, and Honghua Group successively gave special technical reports.
They shared their research results and practical experiences around cutting-edge directions such as additive manufacturing, data security, robotic precision inspection, embodied intelligent applications, intelligent weight-on-bit technology, and high-precision three-dimensional visual flexible measurement.
These reports not only showcase the latest technology trends in the industry, but also provide valuable learning and networking opportunities for participants.
As one of the organizers of the event, the relevant person in charge of Chongqing University of Science and Technology said that the school’s mechanical engineering discipline has long been committed to research in fields such as intelligent manufacturing, high-end equipment, and new energy equipment.

The society will join hands with the Sichuan Mechanical Engineering Society to further promote the exchange of engineering and technical personnel from the two places, form a “1+1>2” scale effect through academic collision and project docking, and jointly create a “manufacturing highland” with global influence.
