The 6th Consumer Expo: AI wave sweeps across, leading new changes in consumption

At the 6th China International Consumer Products Expo, AI application scenarios took center stage; from the tech-focused consumer goods zone to the showcase of premium domestic products, AI is profoundly transforming people's lives and demonstrating immense development potential.

What has been the most popular in the past two years?
AI must be on the list.
At the 6th China International Consumer Goods Expo being held in Hainan, more than 50 leading companies in the global technology field displayed application scenarios such as artificial intelligence + consumption, smart home, digital consumption, and low-altitude economy, allowing global merchants to truly feel that “AI + consumption” is profoundly changing people’s lives.

Technology Consumption Exhibition Area of Consumer Expo

Reporters strolled through the Technology Consumption Exhibition Area of Consumer Expo and were overwhelmed with AI application scenarios and achievements in multiple fields.
At the entrance of the exhibition area, a pair of oversized AI glasses model occupies the C position, and the breath of AI is felt.
Looking from a distance, the lines of green subtitles dancing on the giant lenses arouse people’s curiosity, and people can’t help but speed up their pace to find out.

“Please say “Lucky” to activate the AI assistant.” Such prompt subtitles flashed on the screen of the glasses.
Behind the model, the staff at the Rokid booth said that when you actually put on the AI glasses, you only need to call out its name to activate its functions – ask if it will rain soon, help me see what the scene is in front of you, translate the foreign menu, etc., and it can complete the response.
The speech draft is visible, the portable navigation is visible, the real-time translation is visible, and the payment can even be completed by looking at the payment code… The scene of the Internet of Everything and the human-computer interaction function have caused a “wow” sound.

Such a magical function comes from the fact that Rokid embeds core components such as chips and batteries into a slim frame. It can realize functions such as prompting, shooting, translation, navigation, payment, and AI question and answer through voice interaction or touching the temples.

AI, from concept to practicality, is not limited to glasses.
In front of the humanoid robot booth of Yushu Technology Co., Ltd., humans and robots even held hands and danced.
Chen Tong, the company’s manager in charge of online sales, said that it is equipped with a large model of Qianwen, which can be controlled by people through language. The application scenarios are mainly in entertainment, cultural tourism and other aspects.

At the Sinopec Energy Supply Station booth, the humanoid robot demonstrated the process of pulling out the refueling gun in one breath, “refueling” the disposable paper cup, and then inserting the refueling gun into the gun slot. The entire operation was smooth and fast.

At the booth of Taishan Sports Industry Group, the rider gets on a smart exercise bike, uses his mobile phone to scan the identification code on the front screen of the bike, enters the mini program, and the moment he steps on the pedal, the screen instantly displays data such as riding time, speed, the rider’s heart rate and calories burned.
Song Kun, director of the company’s brand department, said that these functions are supported not only by the car’s hardware, but also by the data and software behind it.

Humanoid robot writing blessing in Guangdong Exhibition Hall

At this Consumer Expo, the AI trend is not only sweeping the technology consumption exhibition area.
In the domestic products exhibition area, beautiful figures are also frequently seen.
In the Guangdong Exhibition Hall, a humanoid robot exhibited by Ligong Industrial Co., Ltd. was writing the word “福” with a splash of ink, attracting Chinese and foreign guests to take photos, check in, and inquire.

In the face of people’s surprise, the company’s account manager Ma Chenchen revealed the mystery behind it – we first asked the calligrapher to write several times, collected the data of the calligrapher’s swing joints, input the data into a special server, optimized the data with the support of algorithms and computing power, and input the data into the robot’s brain (related chips) to strengthen learning. After training to a certain extent and mastering the writing skills, we can send instructions to it through voice signals, or through mobile phones and computers connected to it, and it will execute it.

“To make a robot intelligent, we must first collect the relevant data that empowers it, that is, collect data from real people. Secondly, through computing power, algorithm processing and optimization of data, a data environment that supports its intelligent functions is built to form real machine data. Then, the real machine is intensively trained through data and allowed to execute.” Ma Chenchen said that computing power algorithms are a key part of it.
In layman’s terms, computing power is equivalent to intelligence, and algorithms are equivalent to methods of solving this equation.
After real-person data is collected, it must be optimized and activated by computing power and algorithms.
He also told reporters that currently, in Guangdong, to complete this work, there is the support of computing power from Gansu.

The AI wave is coming in force. It is changing our lives with powerful force, and it also provides new opportunities and motivation for Chinese products to go global.
I believe that in the future, more Chinese products equipped with AI technology will enter the global market, allowing the world to appreciate the charm of Chinese technology.
