How will cars evolve in the future?
Many people believe that the ultimate answer is autonomous driving.
But beyond autonomous driving, a more disruptive change is taking place – cars are evolving from traditional means of transportation into intelligent hubs connecting families, individuals and the digital world.
In recent years, with the development of artificial intelligence and smart terminal technology, TCL Industrial has become the infrastructure for everything with screens in accordance with the strategic business goal of building a “screen universe”. Through multiple terminals such as TVs, mobile phones, tablets, monitors, AI glasses, and car displays, TCL Industries has built a full-scenario smart ecosystem covering home, travel and work scenarios.
At the same time, TCL Industrial has launched the “AI to Realization” strategy to move artificial intelligence from technical concepts to real application scenarios, and cars will become the largest intelligent terminals.

On June 8, Yuxin Zhixing, a joint venture established by TCL Industrial and Brilliance China, held a factory commissioning ceremony in Shenyang.
This is also TCL Industrial’s first industrial implementation project in the Northeast region.
In the future, the factory will focus on the R&D and manufacturing of smart cockpit and vehicle display products, becoming an important fulcrum for TCL to open up the “people-car-home” ecosystem.
Now, with the implementation of this project, TCL Industrial’s “Screen Universe” territory has officially extended from the home space to the travel space, making up an important link in building a full-scenario smart life.
Smart cockpit display: Another piece of the puzzle of TCL Industrial’s “Screen Universe”
Why does a company that is deeply involved in consumer electronics and smart homes want to enter the automotive industry?
The answer is actually very simple.
Over the years, TCL Industrial has built a smart ecosystem covering TVs, air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, smart door locks and companion robots around family life scenarios.
However, as the most important space outside the home, the car has been outside this system for a long time.
Yuxinzhixing was established precisely to complete this last piece of the puzzle.
From a larger perspective, this is also an important extension of TCL Industrial’s “Screen Universe” strategy.
TCL Industrial believes that in the future, the connection between people and the digital world will be realized through various forms of smart terminals and display devices.
TVs, mobile phones, tablets, AI glasses, robots and car cockpit screens are no longer independent devices, but together form a cross-scenario intelligent interaction network.
In this system, a car is no longer just a car, but a large mobile screen and an important entrance to connect families.
For example, when you come home from get off work, the vehicle can turn on the lighting, air conditioning and fresh air system at home in advance; when people are in the vehicle, they can check the situation at the door of their home through the vehicle and communicate with visitors remotely; if the elderly and children are alone at home, they can also use the TCL Industrial companion robot AiMe to understand the dynamics of the home in real time, and receive timely reminders and respond in emergencies.

At the same time, changes are also taking place inside the car.
The cockpit domain controller developed by Yuxin Zhixing is equivalent to the brain of a smart car, responsible for vehicle control, entertainment system, display interaction and information processing.
Relying on TCL Industrial’s long-term accumulation in the display field, Mini LED, AI image quality enhancement, and eye-protection display technologies have been introduced into the smart cockpit, allowing users to obtain a more comfortable visual experience in different environments.
Some car-mounted screens developed by Yuxin Zhixing have even begun to break through the space limitations in the car.
For example, the removable Magic Screen in the rear can not only control the air conditioner, windows and audio and video systems, but can also be taken outside the car for use in camping scenarios.
Coupled with products such as ceiling screens and entertainment screens, cars are gradually becoming mobile living rooms, theaters and entertainment centers.
AI Xiangshi: Let “people-cars-home” truly collaborate
If “Screen Universe” solves the connection problem, then “AI Xiangshi” solves the coordination problem.
In TCL Industrial’s view, future smart life requires not only various smart terminals, but also AI capabilities that can understand user needs and proactively provide services.
In recent years, TCL has continued to promote the “AI to Reality” strategy, emphasizing starting from real needs and allowing AI to truly create user-perceivable value, rather than remaining in the competition of parameters and computing power.
For smart cockpits, AI is not just a voice assistant, but the underlying capabilities that run through the display, interaction and service experience.
For example, the vehicle-mounted display system can automatically optimize the display effect based on ambient light and viewing distance; in the future, as large-scale model capabilities are further integrated into the cockpit, the vehicle can also actively learn user habits and provide more personalized services in navigation, entertainment, and home device linkage.
More importantly, when AI is deeply integrated with the “people-car-home” ecosystem, cars will become an important node in the entire smart life network.
Whether it is turning on the devices at home in advance, or linking robots to take care of the elderly and children, AI’s continuous learning and intelligent decision-making of user habits, scene needs and device status are inseparable.
TCL Industrial is promoting the deep integration of AI into all aspects of the industrial chain, making AI truly a part of industrial capabilities and creating efficiency, experience and safety value in the real world.
From blueprint to reality: Shenyang factory has achieved “acceleration”
Of course, no matter how beautiful a technical idea is, it needs to be supported by industrial implementation.
The Yuxin Zhixing Shenyang factory is an important carrier for TCL to promote the implementation of the “People-Car-Home” strategy.
Shenyang has a profound accumulation of automobile industry and a complete vehicle supporting ecosystem.
Yuxin Zhixing’s factory is built in strict accordance with international vehicle regulations and standards, equipped with automated production lines and a full set of precision testing equipment. It is a full-chain production base integrating R&D, intelligent manufacturing, and vehicle supporting.
With the joint efforts of all parties, this project has exceeded Shenyang’s speed of “starting construction and trial production that year”.
Its commissioning not only makes up for the shortcomings of localized manufacturing of high-end automotive electronics in the Liaoshen region, but also makes the vision of “people-car-home” truly move from concept to reality.
At the commissioning ceremony, TCL Industrial Vice President Luo Bin proposed three major directions for the future development of Yuxin Zhixing: First, strictly abide by vehicle quality regulations, lean intelligent manufacturing, and safety control, and build a modern benchmark factory; second, leverage TCL Industrial’s technology accumulation, increase in-vehicle display and intelligent interactive research and development, and drive product iterations with technological innovation; third, deeply take root in Shenyang, link upstream and downstream vehicle and parts companies, and improve the regional smart cockpit industry chain.
It is worth mentioning that the factory is located opposite the BMW Brilliance Shenyang factory.
For Yuxin Zhixing, this is not only a tribute to the industry benchmark, but also reflects the determination to build a smart cockpit head brand.
From homes to cars, from display terminals to smart services, from the construction of connection portals in the “Screen Universe”, to the implementation of “AI to Reality” promotion capabilities, to Yuxin Zhixing to open up the last mile of “people-car-home”, TCL Industrial is deeply integrating display technology, artificial intelligence and industrial manufacturing capabilities to connect originally scattered life scenes into an organic whole.
In the future, when smart home appliances, AI glasses, companion robots and car cockpits achieve seamless collaboration, technology will no longer be limited to a certain space, but will become a smart partner that always accompanies users.
By then, what people may get is not only a smarter car or a smarter home, but a truly new lifestyle that spans home, travel and work.
