In order to promote the vigorous development of new cross-border e-commerce formats, on June 17, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank held a special cross-border e-commerce Yangtze River Delta event called “Tidal Waves in the Yangtze River Delta, Pu Yingxing E-commerce”, a gathering of cross-border colleagues.
At the event, industry guests from cross-border e-commerce platforms, enterprises, payment institutions and various ecological cooperation organizations gathered together to discuss new opportunities for cross-border e-commerce in the Yangtze River Delta to go overseas.
Wang Sunan, a member of the Party Committee of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank and the company’s business director, and Pan Zhong, a second-level inspector of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce, attended the event.

At the meeting, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank released the “Special Action Plan for “Surge” Cross-border E-commerce in the Yangtze River Delta” (hereinafter referred to as the “Surge” Plan), and introduced in detail the “”Puying E-commerce” Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Financial Service Plan”. It also simultaneously launched the “Cross-border Business E-Loan” credit loan product.
The “Surge” Plan focuses on the characteristic industrial clusters of the Yangtze River Delta, taking the four action matrices of “platform co-construction, enterprise empowerment, payment linkage, and ecological collaboration” as important starting points, and is committed to creating a new benchmark for integrated cross-border e-commerce financial services in the Yangtze River Delta.
In terms of platform co-construction, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank will serve the local cross-border e-commerce platform in the Yangtze River Delta, build a cross-border capital pool, innovate order financing and other services, so as to empower merchants in batches.
In terms of enterprise empowerment, special products such as online credit loans and Shanghai Pudong Bank of China Hedging are launched for regional characteristic industrial zones, which can accurately serve a large number of cross-border e-commerce enterprises.
In terms of payment linkage, we work with regional cross-border payment institutions to create an integrated settlement system for multi-currency foreign exchange settlement, main and sub-account collection, and fund clearing.
In terms of ecological synergy, we will create exclusive financial product service packages to help build the Yangtze River Delta cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zone and jointly incubate high-quality market entities.
In addition, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank has also launched cross-border settlement fee reduction and exclusive financing interest rate preferential services.
By building an online service area and holding offline industry salons, it has opened up cross-regional collaborative service channels and used digital and intelligent products to help companies sail overseas in an all-round way.

During the event, experts from Hangzhou Shangcheng District Commerce Bureau, Xtransfer, and Amazon gave wonderful keynote speeches on cross-border e-commerce policy interpretation, payment innovation, brand overseas and other fields, and shared their professional insights on the development of the cross-border e-commerce industry.
In the roundtable forum, guests from Lianlian Digital, Guomao Cloud Commerce, J&P Group, Shimo Technology, and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank conducted in-depth exchanges around the theme of “Activating New Momentum for Development—Jointly Building the Yangtze River Delta Cross-Border E-Commerce Service Ecosystem” and sparked sparks of ideas on how to build an open, symbiotic, and win-win new regional cross-border e-commerce ecosystem.
Based on the strategic opportunities of the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank will continue to delve into the cross-border financial track and continuously upgrade its full-chain comprehensive service capabilities.
By accurately linking ecological resources such as platforms, enterprises, payment institutions and service providers, it helps cross-border e-commerce companies to sail overseas and injects a steady stream of financial momentum into the high-quality economic development of the Yangtze River Delta region.
It is believed that with the active promotion of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, the cross-border e-commerce industry in the Yangtze River Delta will usher in more vigorous development.
