The sales of major products in the construction machinery industry in May 2026 have attracted much attention. The following is the relevant sales report.
Let’s first look at the sales of excavators.
According to statistics, 24,794 excavators of various types were sold in May 2026, a year-on-year increase of 36.2%.
This growth shows the active trend of the excavator market in that month.
Among them, domestic sales were 11,628 units (including 24 electric excavators), a year-on-year increase of 38.6%. This shows that the demand for excavators in the domestic market is increasing. This may be due to the advancement of domestic infrastructure construction, real estate development and other projects, prompting companies to increase the purchase of excavators.
In terms of exports, 13,166 units (including 25 electric excavators) were exported in May, a year-on-year increase of 34.2%, indicating that our country’s excavators are also highly competitive in the international market and have been recognized by overseas customers.
Judging from the cumulative data from January to May, a total of 126,875 excavators were sold, a year-on-year increase of 24.7%.
Domestic sales were 68,127 units (including 121 electric excavators), a year-on-year increase of 18.5%. Although the growth rate was lower than that in May, the overall growth trend was still maintained.
Exports were 58,748 units (including 101 electric excavators), a year-on-year increase of 32.9%. The rapid growth of exports reflects the increasing share of my country’s excavators in the international market.
Let’s talk about the sales of loaders.
In May 2026, 13,405 loaders of various types were sold, a year-on-year increase of 27.2%.
Domestic sales were 7,418 units (including 4,733 electric loaders), a year-on-year increase of 22.9%. The domestic market demand for loaders is also rising steadily, which may be related to the development of domestic engineering construction, logistics and transportation and other industries.
Exports were 5,987 units (including 216 electric loaders), a year-on-year increase of 33.1%. The rapid growth rate of exports shows the good performance of my country’s loaders in the international market.
From January to May 2026, a total of 67,162 loaders of various types were sold, a year-on-year increase of 27.3%.
Domestic sales were 34,506 units (including 19,587 electric loaders), a year-on-year increase of 16.5%, and exports were 32,656 units (including 1,232 electric loaders), a year-on-year increase of 41.1%.
The rapid growth of exports shows that the competitiveness of my country’s loaders in the international market is constantly increasing, and enterprises have achieved remarkable results in the expansion of overseas markets.
