On the afternoon of April 27, 2026, in the ancient city of Suzhou, the “Third Building Waterproof Repair Technology Forum” and the “Eighth Home Improvement Waterproof Technology and Market Seminar” were held grandly.
This event was co-sponsored by “China Building Waterproofing” magazine and China National Building Materials Suzhou Waterproof Research Institute, with academic support from the Suzhou Company of the National Inspection and Quarantine Group.
The event covers a number of themed seminars and a pioneering forum.
One of the most eye-catching aspects of the meeting was the holding of my country’s first waterproof and moisture-proof standard specifically for the “home decoration” segment – T/CBDA82 –
The standard awarding ceremony of the 2024 “Technical Regulations for Home Improvement Waterproofing, Moistureproofing and Leakage Repair”.
As my country’s only waterproof and moisture-proof standard for home decoration so far, T/CBDA82-2024 has always attracted much attention.
The standard is under the centralized management of the China Building Decoration Association. China National Building Materials Suzhou Waterproof Research Institute and Suzhou Yueju Waterproof Technology Co., Ltd. serve as the chief editors. Niu Yuan was invited to participate in the drafting and preparation.
The China Building Decoration Association officially issued the drafting unit certificate and the drafter honorary certificate to all major participating companies and main drafters who participated in the drafting of the standard.
This is not only a demonstration of Niu Yuan’s strength in participating in the formulation of the “National Standard Group Standard”, but also a testimony of Niu Yuan’s long-term dedication to product research and development.
Currently, in the era of building stock, the field of leakage repair is gradually growing into a new blue ocean with huge and urgent market needs in the waterproofing industry.
A huge and rapidly emerging industry is first faced with practical challenges such as “how to standardize at the professional level.”
T/CBDA82 – 2024《家装防水防潮与渗漏修缮技术规程》的诞生，正是为了深度绑定材料选择、设计与施工整体防水环节的统一技术规范。
The specific content of this regulation comprehensively covers the general principles and basic definitions of terms, basic regulations, material acceptance specifications, waterproof and moisture-proof exclusive design, as well as the “leakage repair” project acceptance technology that is extremely valued by the current industry.
The implementation of this standard not only provides a standard operating model for countless home improvement construction teams, but also greatly enhances the trust of finished product delivery among the majority of owners.
As one of the first companies in the industry to pioneer the “integration of home decoration auxiliary materials”, Niu Yuan was invited to deeply participate in the compilation of this high-threshold industry standard. This is an efficient certification of Niu Yuan’s strong R&D strength and high brand influence in the industry.
It has been 23 years since Niu Yuan was founded, and it has always been determined to provide comprehensive and systematic solutions for decoration auxiliary materials for thousands of households.
Whether it is selecting core raw materials imported from Europe and the United States in the field of waterproof coatings, or working with major universities and scientific research institutions to develop innovative formulas, Niu Yuan has always implemented the core concept of “quality as the root, service as the soul” to the end.
Prior to this, Niu Yuan has been invited to lead and participate in the formulation of more than a dozen national, industry and group standards including waterproofing, tile adhesives, adhesives, and leak-proofing construction.
This time, Niu Yuan, as one of the important special participating units, was invited to participate in the formulation of T/CBDA82-2024 “Technical Regulations for Waterproofing, Moistureproofing and Leakage Repair of Home Decoration”.
During the writing process, Niu Yuan selflessly shared a large amount of Niu Yuan’s internal front-line practical data and mainstream waterproofing processes with great application value to both inside and outside the industry, and successfully contributed irreplaceable excellent wisdom and strong technical support to the implementation of the standard.
Entering a new parallel stage of standardized construction and waterproofing repairs of existing houses, facing this golden track that is gradually refreshing the market height, Niu Yuan has already taken the lead and established a solid technological leadership position by virtue of its in-depth control of the “standard advancement pace”.
Niu Yuan stated that it will actively implement T/CBDA82-2024 specifications in the future, and promote the publicity and implementation of standards in the industry through its own industrial influence, helping the home decoration waterproofing and leakage repair market to develop in a more standardized and credible direction, and refreshing people’s beautiful life with high-quality auxiliary materials and services.
