Hetai Electromechanical (001225) disclosed its 2025 annual report, which presented many important information.
In terms of R&D, the company’s annual R&D investment reached 21.4436 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.95%, accounting for 8.98% of operating income.
However, in the past five years, the company’s R&D investment has grown at a compound growth rate of -5.02%.

Behind the change in R&D investment, there were 57 R&D personnel in the current period, a year-on-year decrease of 13.64% from 66 in the previous period. R&D personnel accounted for 19.26% of the total number of people, compared with 23.66% in the previous period.
Judging from the age structure of R&D personnel, there are 25 people under 30 years old, 16 people between 30 and 40 years old, and 12 people between 40 and 50 years old.
The company has been deeply involved in the material handling equipment manufacturing industry for more than 30 years and has strong design and R&D capabilities.
The company can quickly respond to customers’ diversified needs and promote the implementation of technical solutions, providing specialized material transportation solutions adapted to different downstream scenarios.
Currently, the company is also relying on its existing technological advantages to meet the differentiated needs of customers in the non-cement building materials field and explore incremental market space.

The annual report information shows that Hotai Mechanical and Electrical is an enterprise focusing on the research and development, design, manufacturing and sales of material conveying equipment.
Its main products include plate chain bucket elevators, belt bucket elevators and other series of conveying equipment and accessories, which are widely used in cement building materials, ports, steel, chemicals, coal, electricity and other industries to provide customers with environmentally friendly and efficient bulk material handling solutions. The main business has not undergone major changes since its establishment.
However, the company’s operating performance in 2025 is not ideal.
The company achieved total operating income of 239 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 4.77%; net profit attributable to the parent company was 34 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 40.73%; non-net profit after deduction was 26.0364 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 48.34%; net cash flow generated from operating activities was 53.0935 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 47.07%.
The company plans to distribute cash of 3.12 yuan (tax included) to all shareholders for every 10 shares.
The market is risky and investment needs to be cautious.
For Hotai Electromechanical, although it has invested in research and development, the reduction of R&D personnel and the decline in operating performance have brought certain challenges to the company’s future development.
The company needs to further optimize the R&D team structure, improve R&D efficiency, and actively explore the market to cope with the current difficulties and achieve better development.
