The “15th Five-Year Plan” outline proposes to cultivate and expand emerging industries and future industries.
Since the beginning of this year, related industrial fields have developed rapidly and have become the focus of research reports by many domestic and foreign research institutions and professional organizations.
From the acceleration of commercial aerospace launches to the forward-looking layout of 6G technology, China’s industry continues to grow towards innovation.

This week, my country’s Zhuque-2 improved Yao-6 launch vehicle was successfully launched, successfully completing the launch mission of the satellite Internet project in a “one-rocket, two-star” approach.
Experts engaged in commercial aerospace research at CCID Research Institute said that this is already the eighth flight of the Zhuque-2 carrier rocket.
In the past two years, CCID Research Institute has launched a number of research reports focusing on the development of the commercial aerospace industry.
Among them, a newly released “my country’s Commercial Aerospace High-Quality Development Trend Report” this year mentioned that my country’s commercial aerospace development is showing a “fast, innovative and sufficient” trend.
As of the end of 2025, the number of commercial aerospace companies in my country has exceeded 600, a year-on-year increase of more than 20%.
Innovations in satellites, rockets, launch sites, measurement and control, applications and other links are relatively active, opening up a broader space for the entire industry.
Currently, domestic commercial aerospace development is accelerating.
In 2025, my country will have a total of 50 commercial space launches, 7 more than the previous year, accounting for 54% of the total number of launches throughout the year; 311 commercial satellites have been put into orbit, 110 more than the previous year, accounting for 84% of the total number of satellites in orbit.
In terms of reusable rockets, my country’s engineering verification has been significantly accelerated, and it has created a unique method of recovering offshore network systems that is different from international routes.
In addition to rockets, hard technologies such as laser communications, flat-panel stacked satellites, and space-borne computing are also accelerating breakthroughs, and innovations in modular design, industrial production, commercial operation and other models are emerging one after another.
The aerospace field is undergoing unprecedented changes, which also reflects the strong momentum of “innovation” in my country’s science and technology.

While commercial aerospace is developing rapidly, my country’s forward-looking layout in information and communication technology has also received widespread attention from the industry.
Not long ago, my country officially became the first country in the world to approve 6G test frequencies, providing support for technical trials.
According to the Global Mobile Communications System Association’s predictive research on spectrum planning for 2040, China will still be in a leading position in the 6G era.
The President of Greater China of the Global Mobile Communications System Association said that China is expected to become one of the leading countries in 6G deployment, and by 2035, the 6G penetration rate is expected to reach 60%.
In addition, China will also host the World Radio Conference in Shanghai next year, where the global 6G spectrum usage will be determined, which will also become another milestone in the development of 6G.
Currently, China is actively participating in the formulation of global 6G standards and cultivating an innovation ecosystem.
In the past two years, artificial intelligence and robots have become a hot area of focus for the entire technology community and capital market due to their cutting-edge tracks, technological potential, and increasingly practical application scenarios.
Since the beginning of this year, domestic hot spots in the fields of artificial intelligence, computing power, and robotics have emerged frequently: the average daily call volume of words has exceeded 140 trillion; the country’s largest computing power dispatching hub has been officially formed; Huawei’s Tao’s Law has been released; humanoid robots have entered the “10,000-yuan era”, etc.
Behind these breakthroughs is a concentrated expression of my country’s hard power in science and technology in the corresponding fields.
A report from the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology shows that by the end of 2025, the number of artificial intelligence companies in my country will exceed 6,000, forming a complete industrial system covering basic bases, model frameworks, and industry applications.
According to tests, the comprehensive capabilities of many large head language models around the world have increased by 30% compared with the end of 2024, and many domestic large models are among them.
The overall call volume of large models of my country’s leading cloud vendors is already at the first echelon level in the world.
The intelligent industry chain is gradually improving, accelerating the formation of an intelligent economy.
In addition, the “Artificial Intelligence Index Report 2026” released by Stanford’s “Human-Centered” Artificial Intelligence Research Institute shows that global open source development and artificial intelligence-related research results continue to increase, and China is in a leading position in terms of the number of papers published, citation rate, and number of patent authorizations.
The current rapid changes in artificial intelligence represent my country’s innovative breakthroughs in the field of new generation information technology; and facing the physical world, future robots and embodied intelligence also have broad room for growth.
In 2025, my country’s industrial robot output will reach 773,074 sets, a year-on-year increase of 28%.
The International Federation of Robotics mentioned in a related article published in May this year that during the “15th Five-Year Plan” period, China is shifting its development focus from the traditional industrial automation field to high-end intelligent robot technology combined with artificial intelligence.
In terms of the development of embodied intelligence, a series of white papers released by the China Artificial Intelligence Society mentioned that China’s data is affecting global research and development and data standards.
Since 2025, local governments are building embodied data collection sites to accumulate local scene data for embodied cerebellar model training.
In terms of simulation verification, many domestic laboratories and universities have launched open source simulation platforms to provide a low-cost environment for preliminary verification of algorithms.
A professor at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications said that the development of artificial intelligence and robotics technology has continuously spawned new industries, new driving forces, and new business formats, and comprehensively promoted the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries.
my country’s hard power in science and technology has evolved from a single breakthrough to multiple developments, continuing to inject strong momentum into high-quality economic development.
