The spring of the infrastructure industry is really back!
Many people still think that the construction machinery industry is cold and business is not easy to do, but the latest official data directly slaps it in the face.
In the first five months of 2026, sales of complete machines have surged by double digits across the board!

Both excavators and loaders rebounded greatly, exports soared, and new energy sources doubled in growth. The industry completely bid farewell to low-price involution and started the price increase mode.
Below is a detailed explanation of the data details that ordinary people cannot understand.
Core data show that the two main models have surged across the board.
The sales of complete machines from January to May were very impressive, with a total of 126,000 excavators, a year-on-year increase of 24.7%; and a total of 67,000 loaders, a year-on-year increase of 27.3%.
Real double-digit high growth is not a small recovery, but a strong recovery!
The biggest highlight of this recovery is the explosion of domestic and foreign products, with exports even stronger than domestic ones.
This recovery does not rely solely on domestic releases, but on two-way resonance at home and abroad.
Domestic sales of excavators increased by 18.5%, and exports soared by 32.9%; domestic sales of loaders increased by 16.5%, and exports soared by 41.1%. The growth rate of loader exports was 2.5 times that of China.
Simply put, domestic construction machinery is frantically seizing the global market.

The most explosive growth point in the entire industry comes from electrification.
The sales volume of electric loaders in the first five months was 20,819 units, a year-on-year increase of 90.9%, and exports tripled, with an increase of 208%.
New energy is no longer a concept, but the core growth engine of the industry. The penetration rate will continue to soar in 2026, and electric equipment will fully replace traditional models.
So, why is the construction machinery industry suddenly recovering?
There are two main core reasons.
First, domestic infrastructure funds have been completely revitalized. In the second quarter, the availability of funds has obviously improved. Downstream construction sites have resumed work intensively and a wave of construction has begun. In addition, last year’s low base and this year’s Spring Festival are late, the construction peak season has moved back. It has continued to rise since March, and the recovery trend is very stable.
Second, the overseas African market has strong support. The demand in African mining areas is super hot, which is a perfect hedge against the decline in the Middle East market. The high overseas boom continues to support the increase in exports of domestic equipment.
The industry has also ushered in major changes, saying goodbye to involution and ushering in an era of price increases.
Leading companies such as Sany, Xugong, and Liugong collectively announced price increases of 3% to 5% from May to June. This is a very strong signal that the industry has ended the vicious involution of “price-for-volume” and has officially entered a new stage of value competition, quality improvement, and price increase!
Institutions also predict that revenue, exports, and electrification penetration will all increase in 2026.
Today’s construction machinery is no longer an old traditional industry, but a triple dividend superposition of rebounding domestic demand, soaring exports, and the explosion of electrification, completely reshaping the landscape!
Next, leading companies going overseas and new energy equipment will still be the biggest hot spots.
