On the morning of April 20, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Inovance Technology Dalian R&D and Manufacturing Base project with a total investment of 2 billion yuan was held in Dongjiagou Street, Jinpu New District.
After completion, the project will become a national benchmark for “smart + green” integration in the field of high-voltage motors, injecting strong impetus into the transformation and upgrading of the Northeast manufacturing industry.
The project covers an area of 174,500 square meters and will be constructed in two phases.
In the first phase, 1 billion yuan will be invested to build new production plants, R&D buildings, comprehensive buildings, etc., with a total construction area of approximately 160,000 square meters, and is scheduled to be fully completed by the end of 2027.
Zhao Yuhong, the person in charge of the infrastructure project, said: “It is expected that the main structure capping will be completed in October this year, and the installation and commissioning of the production workshop equipment will be completed by June next year. By November 2027, the entire park will be fully delivered and officially put into operation.”
This is a key step for Inovance Technology to improve its national layout and deepen its development in the field of high-voltage motors. After the project is completed, it will be able to produce 10,000 sets of motors per year, with power levels covering 30-3000kW, voltages covering 380-10kV, and torque ranges of 3-300kN.m. The annual output value is expected to be approximately 5 billion yuan.
The products are widely used in the lifeline industries of the national economy such as electric power, mining, ports, coal, and metallurgy. They will effectively serve key enterprises such as National Energy Group, China Mining Group, and China Coal Group to improve quality and efficiency, and contribute to the “double carbon” goal.
Zhu Xingming, chairman and president of Shenzhen Huichuan Technology Co., Ltd., said in his speech that Dalian is the first city that Huichuan invests in the north, which is highly consistent with the country’s strategy of revitalizing Northeast China.
“The Northeast cannot be left behind in the development of China’s manufacturing industry and the great cause of national rejuvenation. Dalian is the bridgehead of the Northeast.” He emphasized that Dalian has the best port in the north, the most concentrated universities and human resources. The Data Valley opposite the project is the source of the revitalization of the equipment manufacturing industry and an important base for enterprises to go overseas, digital integration, and intelligent development.
Zhu Xingming revealed that in addition to high-voltage motors and intelligent systems, the group will gradually place the R&D and manufacturing of more product lines in Dalian, making full use of Dalian’s geographical, knowledge and resource advantages.
