Wuxin Technology Co., Ltd. is located deep in the mountains of western Hunan. It is the leading enterprise in the domestic steel formwork subdivision industry and has been successfully selected as a national specialized and new “little giant” enterprise.
Its star product “Box Girder Formwork” was selected as the single champion product of Hunan Province and is widely used in key national projects such as high-speed rail and highways.

Connected on the “chain”: “Red Alliance” breaks the “isolated island” of development
“In the past, each blew his own trumpet and sang his own tune. There were few business exchanges between upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain, and information was not communicated. When there were orders, we could not find supporting equipment, and we had to deal with problems ourselves.” At the symposium on party building and joint construction of the machinery and equipment industry chain in Zhongfang County, Liu Dezhen, secretary of the Party Branch of Wuxin Technology, said a few words, which revealed the common pain points of many small and medium-sized supporting enterprises in the past.
What the manufacturing industry fears most is broken links.
In order to solve this problem, Zhongfang County has closely followed the construction of the city’s “5 + 10” modern industrial system and highlighted the characteristic industrial cluster of machinery and equipment manufacturing. Led by the Organization Department of the County Party Committee, it has joined forces with the Social Work Department of the County Party Committee, the County Development and Reform Bureau, the County Bureau of Commerce, Science, Industry and Information Technology and other departments and chain owners to form a machinery and equipment industry chain party committee, forming an organizational structure of “county party leadership, department guidance, chain owners driving, and government-enterprise linkage”, extending the organizational reach to every link of the industry chain.
In October 2025, the Zhongfang County bridge and tunnel equipment manufacturing industry cluster was successfully selected into the list of Hunan Province small and medium-sized enterprise characteristic industry cluster cultivation targets.

The industrial chain party committee regularly conducts “on-chain visits” to gather and sink resources scattered in development and reform, finance, taxation and other enterprise-related departments to promote the collective development of enterprises on the chain.
In 2025, Zhongfang County’s machinery and equipment industry chain will achieve an output value of 1.658 billion yuan and tax revenue of over 80 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.4%, becoming a strong engine for county industrial growth.

In 2006, when the company decided to independently develop a complete set of equipment for automatic hydraulic box girder formwork for high-speed railways, it encountered many “stuck neck” problems such as hydraulic synchronization accuracy and deformation control of large steel molds.
Conventional solutions failed again and again, R&D expenses were wasted like water, and external experts shook their heads.
At the critical moment, the party branch convened all the technical backbones to hold a “Zhuge Liang Meeting”. Zheng Huaichen took the initiative to volunteer and led the backbone of the party members to form a “sharp knife squad”, with food and accommodation in the test workshop. In order to overcome the “stumbling block” of unstable hydraulic synchronization accuracy, he fought continuously for more than three months.
After breaking through the technical bottleneck, this set of equipment has saved billions of dollars in costs for my country’s high-speed rail construction. It has been successfully used in more than 170 domestic high-speed rails such as Beijing-Shanghai, Wuhan-Guangzhou, and Shanghai-Kunming, and has been used in China’s first high-speed rail overseas – the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed rail in Indonesia.
Zheng Huaichen has led his team to obtain a total of 569 patents. He has also personally won the China Patent Excellence Award, the Hunan Provincial Government Special Allowance, the State Council Special Government Allowance and other honors. In March this year, Zhongfang County hosted a bank-enterprise matchmaking meeting for the city’s machinery and equipment industry chain, providing 119.8 million yuan in financing loans for key industry chain enterprises; it also actively cashed in 9.9 million yuan of incentives and subsidies to benefit enterprises.
At the same time, the Lianhe County Human Resources and Social Security Bureau held a special recruitment event and reached 800 job offers, effectively alleviating the labor shortage problem in enterprises.
