After the Spring Festival holiday, Linyi Zhejiang Hardware Industrial Park quickly pressed the “fast forward” button for resumption of work and production. All construction personnel were on duty and machinery and equipment were operating efficiently. All builders went all out to seize the construction deadline with the motivation of “sprinting from the beginning and accelerating from the beginning” to promote the quality and efficiency of project construction, inject new energy into the industrial collaboration between Shandong and Zhejiang, and help the transformation and upgrading of Linyi’s hardware industry.
When you walk into the construction site of the park, you will be greeted by a busy construction scene.
More than 300 construction workers are scattered in various working areas, and are methodically advancing various tasks such as interior decoration of the factory building, laying of supporting pipe networks, and road hardening; more than 50 large tower cranes, excavators, transport trucks and other mechanical equipment are running non-stop, with roaring sounds one after another, playing the “endeavor song” of resumption of work and production.
During the construction process, the project party always adhered to the concept of “safety first, quality first, efficiency first”, innovatively used 3D modeling technology to avoid construction conflicts in advance, and maintained the bottom line of safety and quality while grasping the progress, ensuring “zero accidents” in construction safety and “zero defects” in project quality.
“We returned to work as soon as the New Year was over. Everyone was holding back their energy and worked overtime to catch up with the progress. Although it was hard, being able to participate in the construction of this project and watching the factory building take shape day by day made me very motivated. I also look forward to the project being completed and put into use as soon as possible.” said Du Lei, a construction worker at Linyi Zheshang Hardware Industrial Park.
“We organized the construction workers to return to work quickly, optimized the construction plan, and implemented a two-shift operation mode of white and black, so as to regain the time lost during the holidays, catch up with the construction progress, and ensure that every link is advanced on time and implemented up to standard.” said Li Weiyu, Engineering Director of the Engineering Management Department of Shandong Guangyuan Real Estate Development Co., Ltd.
As a key project of Shandong-Zhejiang industrial cooperation, Linyi Zhejiang Hardware Industrial Park is jointly invested and constructed by member companies of Linyi Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce, with a total investment of 1.05 billion yuan and a planned total area of 300 acres.
The project focuses on the three cores of “intelligent manufacturing, headquarters economy, and shared services” and is based on the entire industry chain of the hardware industry. It focuses on introducing high-quality enterprises such as construction hardware, tool hardware, precision casting, surface intelligent manufacturing, and high-end molds. It is committed to building an industrial ecosystem with collaborative development and active innovation, and creating a modern hardware industry cluster integrating R&D, manufacturing, and trading.
It is reported that since the project was established in January 2025, various preliminary work has been efficiently promoted. The land was obtained in August and construction started in October. It only took more than two months to achieve the capping of part of the factory building, which refreshed the “speed and efficiency” of industrial project construction in Hedong District.
At present, the main structure of the first phase of the project has been capped. After the resumption of work, the staff will focus on decoration and supporting projects. It is planned to complete all construction and deliver it for use in July 2026.
After the project is completed, it is expected to achieve an annual output value of 600 million yuan and an annual comprehensive tax of 30 million yuan, creating a large number of jobs. It will effectively promote the chain extension, supplementation and strengthening of the Linyi hardware industry, realize the deep integration of “Zhejiang enterprise technology + Linyi industry”, provide a replicable and promoteable example for industrial cooperation between Shandong and Zhejiang, and help Linyi build a new platform for the transformation and upgrading of the Jiangbei hardware industry.
