On June 9, 2026, the 11th Zhengzhou Airport ‘Silk Road E-Commerce’ Lecture Hall and Latin American Style Product Selection Fair was successfully held in Zhengzhou Taiwan Science and Technology Park.
This event focuses on the new blue ocean of cross-border e-commerce in Latin America, focusing on Henan’s aromatic, outdoor, clothing weaving and other characteristic advantageous industries to bring overseas demand. It brings together many leading cross-border platform experts, industry service providers and corporate representatives, aiming to help more “Made in Henan” products develop emerging markets.

The event brought together representatives from mainstream e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Alibaba International Station, Meikeduo, Coupang, as well as factory representatives from Zhumadian Fragrance and Intangible Heritage Industry Belt, Nanle County Knitted Hats and Clothing Industry Belt, ecological service providers and cross-border e-commerce sellers.
Wang Jihong, president of the Zhengzhou Airport Area Cross-border E-commerce Association, said that the association has established strategic cooperation with a number of mainstream cross-border e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Alibaba International Station, and has carried out more than 20 training sessions such as the ‘Silk Road E-commerce Lecture Hall’ and professional salons, and has trained more than 2,600 professional talents.
It is worth mentioning that the association and the Zhengzhou Taiwan Science and Technology Park are jointly building a ‘cross-border e-commerce ecological base’ to create an industrial cluster integrating offices, exhibitions, road shows, training, and product selection, allowing companies to link to the key resources needed to go overseas without leaving the park.

As the frontier of opening up to the outside world in inland areas, Zhengzhou Airport focuses on optimizing the business environment and deeply cultivates the ecological construction of the entire cross-border e-commerce industry chain. The effect of industrial agglomeration continues to be highlighted, and the momentum of foreign trade development continues to burst out.
At present, nearly 900 cross-border e-commerce related companies have gathered in the district to build a complete industrial chain. Well-known platforms such as Tmall Global and Douyin are operating regularly. Local companies such as Yitong Cross-border and Quansu Tong have steadily grown into industry benchmarks, forming a good trend of leading, echelon collaboration, and cluster development.
Hou Jinliang, head of e-commerce at the Zhengzhou Airport Area Commercial and Port Administration Bureau, said that relying on the combined advantages of aviation, ports, and comprehensive bonded areas, new cross-border e-commerce formats in the port area are developing rapidly.
According to statistics from the single window of the Henan Electronic Port, in the first five months of this year, the region’s cross-border e-commerce import and export orders totaled 148 million, a year-on-year increase of 45.79%. The scale and quality of foreign trade have increased simultaneously, and the core competitiveness of the inland open highlands has continued to increase. It has become the core carrier of the province’s cross-border e-commerce development and an important fulcrum for inland opening up.
Hou Jinliang said: ‘In the next step, Zhengzhou Airport Zone will continue to improve and strengthen the “Silk Road E-commerce” lecture hall brand, continue to enrich event content, innovate service models, deepen resource docking, and continue to improve the cross-border e-commerce industry ecology.
Relying on the unique open platform advantages, we will deeply explore global market opportunities, guide more local specialty products to go abroad, promote the scale and quality of the cross-border e-commerce industry, and inject continuous vitality into the high-quality development of the province’s export-oriented economy.
