Youfa Group, a leading company in China’s steel pipe industry, has established its regional headquarters in Foshan.

On January 13, 2026, the Youfa Group’s Guangdong regional headquarters project officially settled in Jiujiang Town, Nanhai District, Foshan, with a total investment of 2 billion yuan. As a leading enterprise in China's steel pipe industry, the Group's project will drive industrial clustering and provide support for Foshan's development.

On January 13, 2026, the People’s Government of Nanhai District, Foshan City, and Tianjin Youfa Steel Pipe Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Youfa Group”) signed a cooperation agreement, officially establishing the Youfa Group Guangdong Regional Headquarters project in Jiujiang Town, Nanhai District, with a total investment of 2 billion yuan. This is the first regional headquarters project of a Fortune China 500 company signed in Foshan in 2026. Youfa Group is considered a leading enterprise in China’s steel pipe industry. Since 2006, it has been listed among the top 500 Chinese enterprises and the top 500 Chinese manufacturing enterprises for 20 consecutive years. The group’s business scope is extensive, covering the research, development, production, and sales of various pipe products such as welded steel pipes, galvanized pipes, steel-plastic composite pipes, and stainless steel pipes. The company owns 8 high-tech enterprises and over 300 production lines. Its products have maintained a market share of over 20% in the domestic market for many consecutive years, with its core product, galvanized round pipe, holding approximately 35% of the domestic market share. According to the cooperation agreement, the Youfa Group’s Guangdong regional headquarters project will construct a modern, automated, garden-style green factory producing a variety of high-quality welded steel pipes, 3PE pipes, and deep-processed steel pipe products. Upon reaching full production capacity, the project is expected to generate an annual output value of 8 billion yuan. The project’s implementation is of great significance, as it will play a leading role, driving the agglomeration of upstream and downstream industries and providing crucial support for the high-quality development of Foshan’s new materials industry and headquarters economy. To facilitate the early signing and implementation of the project, the Foshan Investment Promotion Bureau has spearheaded a coordinated effort involving municipal, district, and town-level departments to provide proactive services. They focused on key aspects such as land supply, policy support, and approval processes, strengthening the overall coordination and scheduling of resources to tailor implementation plans for the project. Wang Yalin, head of the Youfa Group’s Guangdong project, stated, “The Foshan government at all levels provided strong support during the project’s implementation, especially in coordinating and meeting the project’s land needs of over 300 mu.” Next, the group will accelerate the project’s construction and production, leveraging its role as a core hub for the group’s expansion into the South China market, further improving its national production layout, and expanding into the Guangdong and even the Greater Bay Area market. The Youfa Group project’s establishment is another typical example of Foshan’s precise “attracting large and strong enterprises” strategy centered on the industrial chain. In recent years, Foshan has focused on Fortune Global 500 companies, China’s Top 500 companies, and industry leaders, resulting in the successive establishment of a large number of key projects. For example, Hong Kong and China Gas and Foshan Gas Group launched a green methanol production project at the end of 2025; Sam’s Club projects in Chancheng and Shunde are expected to open in 2026; and Lead Technology Group has increased its investment by 6.3 billion yuan to promote the establishment of the largest optical chip industrialization project in the province in Foshan. Projects such as Chint Intelligent Electric (South China) Science and Technology Innovation Industrial Park, Midea Group’s Global KD Center, and Guangxin Materials’ intelligent BOPP film production line are also under accelerated construction. Large state-owned enterprises such as China Southern Power Grid, Shanghai Electric, and Dongfang Electric have also formed groups to invest in Foshan, fully demonstrating their confidence that “investing in Foshan is investing in the future.” According to statistics, since October 2024, Foshan has connected with more than 40 Fortune Global 500 companies, including Walmart, AstraZeneca, Volkswagen Group, and SK Group, and more than 60 China Top 500 companies, including Hong Kong and China Gas, Chint Group, Wanyang Group, Lead Technology Group, Fosun International, and ZTO Express, reaching signed investment agreements totaling over 85 billion yuan. These projects cover both advantageous industries such as home furnishings and high-end equipment manufacturing, and also focus on emerging sectors such as new power system equipment, semiconductor chips, new energy, new materials, and pharmaceuticals and healthcare, laying a solid foundation for Foshan to accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system.
