As a leading domestic provider of integrated industrial automation solutions, Yike Automation’s latest distributed frequency converter product eliminates the need for traditional control cabinets, enabling on-site installation next to the equipment. This effectively solves many pain points of traditional control solutions, providing the industry with a new solution that is highly efficient, low-cost, highly flexible, and scalable. As a core driving device for industrial automation, distributed frequency converters, with their modular design, flexible deployment, and efficient control, continuously empower various industries to improve production efficiency. However, limited by the high cost barriers dominated by foreign brands, this core equipment has not yet achieved large-scale application in the logistics field, indicating a vast potential for domestic substitution. At CeMAT ASIA 2025, Tianjin Yike Automation Co., Ltd. showcased its FFC series distributed frequency converters, which, with their outstanding economy, flexibility, and adaptability, became a focus of industry attention. Founded in 2003, Yike Automation is a leading provider of industrial automation products and intelligent manufacturing solutions in my country. With its high-quality products, independent intellectual property rights, and strong innovation capabilities, it has been recognized as a national-level key “Little Giant” enterprise specializing in specialized, refined, and innovative technologies, demonstrating the strong technological strength of local enterprises. Recently, the Sales Director of Tianjin Yike Automation Co., Ltd. gave an exclusive interview, focusing on frequency converter technology based on over 20 years of industry experience, sharing his profound insights and professional perspectives on the field of industrial automation, and providing a comprehensive introduction to Yike Automation’s overall solution capabilities. When asked about Yike Automation’s development in the past two years, its main products, and key service areas, the Sales Director stated that Yike Automation has been deeply involved in the industrial automation field for two decades and has become a national-level key “Little Giant” enterprise specializing in specialized, refined, and innovative technologies, capable of competing with international giants. The company continues to strengthen its strategic investment in market, product, sales, and service dimensions, deeply focusing on key areas such as logistics, lithium batteries, automobiles, semiconductors, 3C, photovoltaics, and packaging. It promotes product development and iteration around customers’ actual scenarios, providing a full range of services from the system layer, control layer, network layer to the execution layer for the overall planning and implementation of intelligent manufacturing. In the logistics industry, Yike Automation drives the intelligent upgrade of the entire logistics scenario with overall solutions. For automation equipment in warehousing, conveying, and sorting, it has successively launched core products such as the FFC series distributed frequency converters, OSM300 series laser rangefinders, ODC300 series optical communication equipment, and FX20 series distributed I/O. At the same time, it has developed a number of innovative products to address the differentiated challenges of other key industries, supporting the improvement of accuracy, efficiency, and reliability capabilities in various industries with a comprehensive product matrix.

Regarding the reasons and R&D background of Yike’s distributed frequency converter receiving much attention at CeMAT ASIA 2025, the sales director stated that the product precisely responds to the logistics industry’s core demands for “lower costs, faster delivery, and less after-sales service.” It systematically solves the pain points of traditional control solutions, such as “complex design, slow construction, and difficult maintenance,” providing a more efficient and flexible frequency conversion control path for modern logistics systems. In the logistics industry, traditional centralized control methods have many limitations. To address these pain points, especially for the application needs of pallet conveyors and belt conveyors in scenarios such as warehousing, express delivery, and airports, the company initiated and developed a distributed frequency converter, which has many advantages compared to traditional solutions.
The innovation of Yike’s distributed frequency converter lies in completely eliminating the reliance on complex control cabinets, directly deploying frequency conversion control functions to the equipment site, thereby fundamentally simplifying the system architecture. Its advantages are reflected in three aspects: economy, flexibility, and adaptability. It achieves optimal cost throughout the entire lifecycle, flexibly adapts to diverse application scenarios, and can easily cope with various harsh working conditions. In terms of specific functions, the product supports standard V/F control for three-phase asynchronous motors, with a speed range covering 0-600Hz; it has built-in multiple practical functions to effectively reduce starting shock and protect equipment and material safety; it has multiple protection mechanisms to easily cope with heavy load impacts during peak logistics periods; the built-in braking unit can be flexibly equipped with braking resistors to achieve “load-adaptive speed regulation and braking energy recovery”; the product has a built-in 24V I/O signal power supply, supports user management and parameter protection, and, with dedicated configuration software, can significantly improve operation and maintenance efficiency. Regarding the new changes in the logistics equipment industry, the sales director stated that logistics system integrators are accelerating their shift from “bringing in” to “going out,” with equipment increasingly moving towards stand-alone, modular, and integrated designs to achieve “plug-and-play” functionality. Yike Automation actively promotes product R&D and technological iteration, launching the Logic X series controllers in addition to distributed frequency converters, widely used in logistics conveying and packaging equipment. In terms of safety protection, they have deployed a series of products such as safety light curtains and safety door locks, providing reliable protection for personnel and equipment. Regarding the localization process of core components in logistics equipment, the sales director believes that domestic brands have achieved significant breakthroughs in the low-to-mid-end market, but still face challenges in the high-end market, including insufficient accumulation of core technologies, an incomplete high-end supply chain and precision manufacturing system, and the need to improve brand recognition. However, domestic brands also possess advantages such as being close to the market, responding quickly to customer needs, providing deeply adapted application solutions, high cost-effectiveness, policy support, and the benefits of the domestic market. As domestically produced complete equipment accelerates its overseas expansion, core component companies are also ushering in opportunities for collaborative overseas expansion, gradually building a global supply chain advantage of “complete equipment + components.” Finally, the Sales Director pointed out that Yike Automation, through over 20 years of continuous cultivation and accumulation, has built core advantages in product and technology fields, possessing a deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to respond quickly. The company established an Industry Expansion Department in 2024 to promote more precise industry adaptation of its products and services. In the future, Yike Automation will focus on five strategic directions for medium- and long-term development: strengthening technological independence and product systems, consolidating the foundation of intelligent manufacturing and supply chains, expanding its global market layout, upgrading its industrial internet platform, and advancing its capital and brand strategies. It is committed to becoming a leading industrial automation enterprise with global influence.
