Recently, the A-share listing guidance status of Tianjin Yike Automation Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Yike Automation”) has been updated to counseling acceptance, entering the preparatory window period for IPO declaration, and is one step closer to landing in the capital market.

The preparations for this IPO began at the end of November 2025. Yike Automation and Cathay Haitong Securities formally signed a listing guidance agreement.
Subsequently, the company strictly followed regulatory requirements such as the “Regulations on Initial Public Offering and Listing Counseling” and steadily promoted various counseling work in conjunction with the agreement between the two parties. This also marked the official launch of Yike Automation’s A-share listing plan.
After completing the coaching and acceptance, the next step for Yike Automation will be to submit IPO application materials, publicly disclose the prospectus, and start the listing application process.
Yike Automation is a very powerful enterprise.
In 1989, Zhang Xin graduated from the Computer Science Department of Tsinghua University. The following year, he went to the Technical University of Darmstadt in Germany for further study and successfully obtained a master’s degree.
In 1994, Zhang Xin, who had accomplished his studies, chose to return to China and took the lead in establishing the German Turck Company’s wholly-owned enterprise in China.
Years of deep experience in the industry and comparison of domestic and foreign industry perspectives made him deeply aware of the shortcomings of the domestic equipment manufacturing industry. Core components have long been dependent on imports and controlled by others, and there is huge room for localization of the industry. This also paved the way for his subsequent entrepreneurial layout.
With the original intention of breaking the monopoly of foreign technology, Zhang Xin founded Yike Automation in 2003, focusing on the research and development of local industrial automation products and the output of intelligent manufacturing solutions.
After more than 20 years of hard work, Yike Automation has grown into a backbone in the domestic industrial automation field, acquiring more than 400 intellectual property rights and providing a full range of top-to-bottom services.
The company’s product matrix covers cloud platforms, MES manufacturing execution systems, industrial field buses, industrial Ethernet, industrial wireless communications, IoT gateway chips, automated production lines composed of robots and intelligent equipment, automated electrical control system integration, intelligent logistics warehousing systems, etc. A number of core products have successfully filled the technology gaps in the domestic industry.

With solid product strength and technical advantages, Yike Automation’s solutions have been widely implemented in many mainstream industrial fields such as automobiles and auto parts, engineering machinery, new energy, logistics equipment, food and pharmaceuticals, printing and packaging, textile machinery, electronic manufacturing, etc., and it has firmly occupied the leading position in the industry in multiple segments.
Among them, the company once occupied the main sales position in the three core markets of metallurgy, vehicle manufacturing, and new energy lithium batteries.
In the key track of core robot components, Yike Automation’s technical advantages are particularly prominent.
The company’s independently developed OS10S series photoelectric sensors can improve the operating capabilities and adaptability of mobile robots in different scenarios.
Not only that, the company has overcome a number of core technologies and successfully developed world-leading laser ranging sensors, 3D laser profile sensors and 41-bit absolute value multi-turn encoders, etc., which can support industrial robots to achieve high-precision monitoring and stable control in extremely harsh industrial scenarios such as high and low temperatures and strong corrosion, and complete full-dimensional environmental perception and real-time dynamic data analysis, which greatly improves the operational stability and adaptability range of industrial robots.
With its profound technological accumulation and continuous innovation capabilities in the field of R&D and manufacturing of core components of industrial robots, Yike Automation was successfully selected into the list of enterprises in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s “Industrial Robot Industry Standard Conditions (2024 Edition)”.
In the process of industrialization of domestic humanoid robots, Yike Automation also plays an important supporting role.
In Yushu Technology’s humanoid robot elbow joint assembly equipment, Yike Automation’s MVT valve island has become the core key component of its production line.
Yike’s photoelectric sensors and proximity sensors work effectively together in the overall production process of Yushu Robot, providing a comprehensive, accurate and efficient solution for the goods inspection link, laying a solid foundation for the quality of robot products.
Relying on technology accumulation, perfect product layout and innovative capabilities for continuous breakthroughs, Yike Automation has firmly established itself as a leading domestic industrial automation company, and its development potential has been recognized by the capital market.
The company has successively received strategic investment from a number of well-known leading VC institutions such as SDIC Investment, Xiaomi Investment, iFlytek Ventures, Haihe Industrial Fund, Tianchuang Capital, Novartis Capital, Landstone Investment, Fosun Capital and other well-known leading VC institutions. The capital empowerment and blessing has also injected strong impetus into the company’s subsequent technology research and development, production capacity expansion and market expansion.
The entire intelligent robot and embodied intelligence track is now on the verge of rapid rise, and the wave of domestic upgrading of domestic intelligent manufacturing is becoming increasingly fierce.
The latest data from IDC heralds huge growth potential in the industry. It is expected that the global intelligent robot hardware market will be close to US$30 billion in 2026, and China will become the core engine for the growth of global embodied intelligent robots, with the domestic market size exceeding US$11 billion by then.
As industrial intelligent transformation continues to penetrate and the commercialization of humanoid robots accelerates, the independent controllability of local supply chains continues to increase, and the speed of industry iteration continues to accelerate.
It is foreseeable that in the next few years, the domestic intelligent manufacturing and embodied intelligence fields will usher in continued technological breakthroughs and market expansion, and new industry opportunities are still emerging.
