XTransfer: Breaking the traditional boundaries of the payment industry and expanding the global cross-border trade settlement landscape

“The traditional boundaries of the payment industry are being broken. Only by actively embracing the era of diversity and innovation can we achieve ‘Learn Fast, Embrace
Al’, we can find a unique perspective to reshape the global payment experience in the digital wave.
XTransfer is using technology to eliminate the barriers to global B2B cross-border payments and work with global ecological partners to achieve ‘crossing borders and transcending borders’.”
Recently, XTransfer Singapore CEO Xiao Lixin said this at the 2026 European “Money20/20” Fintech Summit.

At this financial technology summit, the B2B cross-border trade payment platform XTransfer successively reached cooperation with the global financial group BBVA and Societe Generale.
Relying on the regional resource advantages of two established European international banks, we continue to improve the X-Net global unified B2B cross-border trade settlement network and risk management platform.
This initiative comprehensively optimizes the integrated services of cross-border payment, exchange, and local collection for small and medium-sized foreign trade enterprises, and consolidates the layout of global compliance payment infrastructure.

In recent years, economic and trade exchanges between China and Latin America have continued to heat up.
However, a large number of small and medium-sized enterprises still face cross-border settlement pain points such as long overseas account opening cycles, foreign exchange control constraints, and cumbersome compliance approvals.
In order to jointly solve industry problems, XTransfer and BBVA jointly signed a memorandum of cooperation on June 3.
The two parties will integrate the resource advantages of both parties and jointly create integrated cross-border financial solutions. The service scope covers Latin America, Europe and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China, specifically covering foreign exchange exchange, local collection and payment, cross-border settlement and other businesses.

For XTransfer, this cooperation further expands the scope and service depth of its global cross-border trade settlement network and risk control system X-Net in the two key regions of Europe and Latin America.
Latin America is already a high-growth market for cross-border settlement of Chinese foreign trade companies. Relying on BBVA’s complete local network layout in Europe and Latin America, XTransfer can further expand its business coverage and enhance its market competitiveness.

As the global supply chain becomes increasingly diversified, the trade of small and medium-sized enterprises has gradually taken on the form of parallel markets, and the demand of enterprises for cross-border payments has also increased.
In addition to security and compliance, we also look forward to a faster account opening process, easier automated operations, and more predictable exchange rates and arrival times.
Against this background, XTransfer and Société Générale have also recently reached a cooperation to strengthen cross-border payment infrastructure and develop comprehensive financial solutions to enhance the flow of international trade.

XTransfer and Société Générale will combine their respective advantages to jointly explore and create integrated cross-border financial solutions, including local collection and cross-border payment services, to assist foreign trade companies in collecting payments from overseas buyers in a more efficient and safer way; at the same time, it will also allow global traders to achieve end-to-end payments more quickly and securely, directly to global suppliers.

These cooperations of XTransfer not only solve the problem of cross-border settlement for small and medium-sized enterprises, but also inject new vitality into the development of global trade.
In the future, with the continuous development and innovation of the payment industry, XTransfer is expected to play a more important role in the field of global cross-border trade settlement and further promote the prosperity of global trade.
