On January 21, at a press conference held by the Shaanxi Provincial People’s Government Information Office, the data that Shaanxi’s import and export station will reach a “new level” of 530 billion yuan in 2025 is eye-catching.
There are profound reasons behind the achievement of this achievement. After the meeting, Cui Ying, director of the Statistics and Analysis Department of Xi’an Customs, revealed the mystery for us in a relevant interview.

Cui Ying pointed out that the achievement of this outstanding “report card” mainly benefited from two aspects.
The first is strong support from the policy level.
In the past year, the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government made a series of decisions and arrangements to stabilize foreign trade, and various local departments also introduced detailed supporting measures.
Taking Xi’an Customs as an example, it has launched 20 measures aimed at helping companies stabilize orders and expand markets.
These pragmatic and effective measures are like a shot in the arm for enterprises, effectively hedging the impact of external shocks, greatly boosting corporate confidence and stabilizing market expectations.
Under the protection of policies, enterprises can carry out import and export business with more confidence and actively expand overseas markets.
On the other hand, the “basic market” and “growth points” of Shaanxi’s foreign trade are both very impressive.
“Leading” foreign trade companies such as Micron, Samsung, BYD, LONGi and Shaanxi Heavy Duty Truck have shown strong resilience in moving forward in a complex market environment.
Some of these companies have increased by up to more than 60%, becoming the mainstay in promoting the development of Shaanxi’s foreign trade.
At the same time, Shaanxi has also made breakthrough progress in emerging fields.
Shaanxi’s new energy vehicle exports increased by 66%, and lithium battery exports doubled. This not only reflects Shaanxi’s technical strength and industrial advantages in the new energy industry, but also opens up new growth points for Shaanxi’s foreign trade.
In addition, the number of companies carrying out import and export business in the province has increased to nearly 6,000, which means that more companies have participated in foreign trade activities, further strengthening the strength of Shaanxi’s foreign trade.

The start is related to the overall situation, and it is very critical to do a good start in the first quarter of this year.
Cui Ying said that after last year’s experience, Shaanxi’s advantages in industrial system and human resources have become more evident, its trading partners have become more diversified, and its ability to resist risks has been significantly enhanced.
In the new year, Xi’an Customs will continue to play an active role and do everything possible to help companies bail out.
For the difficulties encountered by enterprises in customs clearance, we will adhere to the principle of “get it done right away and get it done right away” and make every effort to promote the stability and improvement of Shaanxi’s foreign trade.
We have reason to believe that with the continued support of policies and the continuous efforts of enterprises, Shaanxi’s foreign trade will create more brilliant results in the new year and contribute more Shaanxi strength to Chinese goods going global.
