On January 21, the Shaanxi Provincial People’s Government Information Office held a press conference. The data released at the meeting that Shaanxi’s import and export station will reach a “new level” of 530 billion yuan in 2025 is really eye-catching.
After the meeting, Cui Ying, director of the Statistical Analysis Department of Xi’an Customs, conducted an in-depth analysis of the reasons for obtaining this eye-catching “report card” in an interview.

Cui Ying said that in the past year, the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government made a series of decisions and arrangements to stabilize foreign trade, and various local departments have also introduced detailed supporting measures.
Among them, Xi’an Customs has launched 20 measures aimed at helping companies stabilize orders and expand markets.
These pragmatic and effective measures have effectively hedged against the impact of external shocks, boosted corporate confidence and stabilized market expectations.
With the support of policies, companies can respond to various challenges more calmly and actively expand business.
On the other hand, the “basic market” and “growth points” of Shaanxi’s foreign trade are both very impressive.
“Leading” foreign trade companies such as Micron, Samsung, BYD, LONGi, and Shaanxi Heavy Duty Truck have endured a complex market environment, with growth rates up to more than 60%, demonstrating strong resilience.
Relying on their own technological advantages, management advantages and market advantages, these enterprises have continuously improved product quality and competitiveness, providing solid support for the stable growth of Shaanxi’s foreign trade.

At the same time, Shaanxi has also achieved remarkable results in emerging fields.
New energy vehicle exports increased by 66%, and lithium battery exports doubled. This not only reflects Shaanxi’s development potential in the new energy industry, but also injects new vitality into Shaanxi’s foreign trade.
In addition, the number of enterprises carrying out import and export business in the province has increased to nearly 6,000, which shows that the market entities of Shaanxi’s foreign trade continue to grow and the market vitality continues to increase.
The start is related to the overall situation, and it is very critical to do a good job in the first quarter of this year.
Cui Ying said that after last year’s experience, Shaanxi’s advantages in industrial system and human resources have become more evident, its trading partners have become more diversified, and its ability to resist risks has been significantly enhanced.
In the new year, Xi’an Customs will do everything possible to help companies out of difficulties, solve customs clearance problems for companies immediately, and make every effort to promote the stability and improvement of Shaanxi’s foreign trade.
It is believed that with the continued support of policies and the continuous efforts of enterprises, Shaanxi’s foreign trade will usher in a better future and make greater contributions to the introduction of Chinese goods to the world.
