Data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers shows that from January to November, my country’s automobile production and sales completed 31.231 million units and 31.127 million units respectively, a year-on-year increase of 11.9% and 11.4% respectively.

Among them, the production and sales of new energy vehicles performed strongly. From January to November, the production and sales of new energy vehicles completed 14.907 million units and 14.78 million units respectively, a year-on-year increase of 31.4% and 31.2% respectively.
Industry estimates indicate that China’s global share of new energy passenger vehicles will be 68% in 2025.
Driven by the “twin engines” of the steady growth of China’s automobile market and the rapid rise of new energy vehicles, China’s tire industry has maintained rapid growth in recent years.

- Tires rolled off the production line at Sailun’s Indonesian and Mexican plants: On May 28, 2025, the first high-performance passenger car radial tire at Sailun’s Indonesian plant successfully rolled off the production line. On May 29, the first high-performance semi-steel radial tire at Sailun’s Mexican plant successfully rolled off the production line and achieved full line penetration.
In August, Sailun announced plans to invest in a radial tire project with an annual output of 3.6 million units in Egypt.
Sailun has completed the layout of factories in three tire consumption potential markets in Asia, Africa and Latin America. It has also acquired Bridgestone’s Shenyang factory and renovated and upgraded it. - Double Star invests in Algeria’s largest tire factory: On July 20, 2025, the “Haji Industry” tire factory laid the foundation stone in Oran City, Oran Province, Algeria. Upon completion, it will become the largest advanced tire factory with the most comprehensive products in Algeria and even North Africa.
The first-phase investment is US$250 million, with a production capacity of 6 million passenger tires and 1 million truck and bus tires. - Linglong announces plan to build a factory in Brazil: On April 25, 2025, Linglong Tire announced an overseas (Brazil) investment and construction project, with a total investment of US$1,193,150,700.
After the project is fully completed and put into production, it will have an annual output of 14.7 million sets of various high-performance radial tires. It will be Linglong’s third overseas factory after Thailand and Serbia. - Yongsheng Morocco factory completes registration: Shandong Yongsheng Rubber Group Co., Ltd.’s new semi-steel radial tire project in Morocco with an annual output of 6 million sets completed the registration on May 28, 2025. This is Yongsheng Rubber’s first overseas factory. In the future, the production capacity will gradually increase to an annual output of 12 million sets.
- The first tire rolled off the assembly line at HKT’s Cambodian factory: On October 31, 2025, the first tire bearing the overseas brand “ROCKBLADE” was successfully rolled off the assembly line at HKT’s Cambodian factory.
On November 21, HK Tire’s second phase of its Cambodian factory project was quickly registered, with an annual production capacity of 1.5 million sets of all-steel tires and 6 million sets of semi-steel tires. - Prinx Chengshan Malaysia Factory Construction Starts: On November 18, 2025, Prinx Chengshan Malaysia Factory laid the foundation stone in Kedah Rubber City, Kedah, Malaysia.
The first phase will create an annual production capacity of 6 million high-end passenger car tires and 600,000 commercial vehicle tires. - Jinyu Vietnam factory is fully connected: On April 15, 2025, Jinyu Tire held the “Full Connection Ceremony of the High-Performance Semi-Steel Radial Tire Project with an annual output of 10 million units” in Tay Ninh Province, Vietnam. It is expected to reach the production capacity target in the second half of 2026.
- Haohua Shouguang Factory Starts Renovation and Expansion: In early September 2025, Shandong Haohua Tire Co., Ltd.’s West Factory Renovation and Expansion Project in Shouguang Hou Town Chemical Industrial Park officially received environmental impact assessment approval.
The total investment in the project reaches 291.5 million yuan. After completion, it will form an annual production scale of 2.8 million sets of all-steel radial tires and 20 million sets of semi-steel radial tires. - Fulin launches second-phase expansion of Malaysian factory: On November 10, 2025, Jinma Rubber Tire Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Qingdao Fulin Tire Co., Ltd. in Malaysia, officially launched the second-phase expansion project with a total investment of 500 million ringgit.
- Taikai Tire is listed on the Beijing Stock Exchange: On October 28, 2025, Qingdao Taikaiying Special Tire Co., Ltd. was officially listed on the Beijing Stock Exchange.
Taikaiying will use all the funds raised for technology research and development.
