Today, the main capital outflow of the A-share market was 11.676 billion yuan, but one sector was bucking the trend and “attracting money” – the machinery and equipment sector had a net inflow of 954 million yuan throughout the day, and received funds to increase positions for two consecutive trading days.
This is particularly eye-catching in a market where foreign capital and domestic capital have all flowed out and one company dominates the electronics industry.

What did you buy with this 954 million yuan?
Funds are “betting” on high-end manufacturing, and the “watershed” of leading stocks is obvious.
954 million yuan may not seem like much, but its structural characteristics are extremely distinctive.
Among the 535 stocks in the sector, 242 received net inflows of major funds, 20 of which had net inflows exceeding 100 million yuan; but at the same time, 345 stocks experienced net outflows, and 16 had net outflows exceeding 100 million yuan.
Funds are not “buying the bottom” of the entire machinery sector, but are precisely selecting “high-certainty” subdivided tracks.
The logic of capital “betting” is clear:
Huagong Technology (000988): The main net inflow was 582 million yuan, ranking first in the sector.
The core catalyst is a technological breakthrough – its subsidiary’s self-developed 12-inch high-end wafer laser processing equipment was successfully introduced into the semiconductor head storage wafer mass production line. This is a milestone event for domestic high-end laser equipment to be recognized by the world’s top supply chain.
At the same time, the stock was officially included in the CSI 300 Index on June 11, triggering the need for passive fund allocation.
Blite (688333): The main net inflow was 267 million yuan, and the stock price rose by 20%.
This leader in additive manufacturing (3D printing) has ushered in multiple positive resonances: net profit attributable to parent companies will surge by 95% in 2025, and the first quarter of this year will turn around losses; major shareholders and executives concentrated on increasing their holdings on June 10-11 to convey confidence; combined with the explosion of the commercial aerospace sector that day (the market value of SpaceX exceeded US$2.65 trillion, and domestic aerospace companies were actively financing), the implementation of Blit’s benchmark project in the commercial aerospace field was the catalyst.

Both sides: Han’s Laser (002008) had a net outflow of 367 million yuan, ranking first in the sector.
The reasons are equally clear: On June 5, it was announced that the controlling shareholder and several senior executives planned to reduce their holdings by no more than 0.6952% of the shares; on June 16, the Dragon and Tiger List showed that the net sales of institutional exclusive seats were 323 million yuan, and the net sales of Shenzhen Stock Connect were 155 million yuan, indicating a strong willingness to take profits.
Why “mechanical equipment”?
The old infrastructure is underpinned and the new track is detonated.
Today, the net outflows of major funds in the two cities exceeded 10 billion yuan, with the electronics industry “leading the way” with a net inflow of 27.006 billion yuan.
The reason why machinery and equipment can “get a share of the pie” in such a fierce competition for funds is the logic of “resonance between the old and the new”:
Traditional demand “ballast stone”: Large-scale equipment update policies have significant effects, with investment in equipment and tool purchases increasing by 9.3% from January to May; construction machinery has entered the 8-10 year update cycle, and excavator sales in May increased by 36% year-on-year.
These data prove that the “bottom” of the machinery sector is real orders and demand.
The “catalyst” of the emerging track: The explosion of AI computing power has brought about high demand for equipment such as optical modules and robots.
Kaiyuan Securities predicts that the prosperity of the AI-related equipment segment will continue to rise in the second half of 2026.
Guoyuan Securities pointed out in its latest research report that loader export sales in May increased by 33.1% year-on-year, and it is optimistic about the construction machinery export chain.
The superposition of the two provides the confidence for capital to dare to have a net inflow for two consecutive days (a total of more than 3.7 billion yuan).
Unlike the “vanguard” state of the electronics industry, which is highly crowded and highly valued, the machinery and equipment sector is in a stage of low congestion and valuation repair, and is more suitable for allocating funds for mid-term deployment.
What does it have to do with your wallet?
This is a trend layout, not a one-day trip: after a large outflow of 7.856 billion yuan on June 10, funds began to cover on June 16, and there have been net inflows for two consecutive trading days since then.
The cumulative net inflow in the past two days was 3.796 billion yuan, partially covering the previous outflow.
This “V-shaped reversal” of capital acceptance is a typical feature of mid-term capital entry.
Focus on segmented tracks rather than the entire sector: Funding preferences are concentrated in fields such as industrial aircraft, semiconductor equipment, and commercial aerospace under the label of “high-end manufacturing.”
The share of industrial parent ETF Cathay Pacific (159667) has increased by 23.18% since June, with a total net inflow of 443 million yuan in the past five days.
Institutions are collectively “bullish”: CITIC Construction Investment is optimistic about the gas turbine overseas industry chain (the global demand gap continues to expand); Guotai Junan is concerned about the domestic substitution opportunities brought about by the update of medical equipment and the implementation of the surgical robot charging policy; Guoyuan Securities emphasizes the dual main lines of construction machinery exports and low-altitude economy.
Summary in one sentence: While the market is still chasing the elasticity of the electronics sector, the mechanical equipment sector is ushering in a trend layout that resonates with “recovery of traditional demand and increase in emerging tracks”.
Next, paying attention to the changes in the share of industrial mother machine ETFs and the placement of orders from leading companies such as Huagong Technology and Platinum Technology will be the key to judging the depth of this market wave.
