On June 17, the first China (Ningxia)-Central Asia Economic and Trade Matchmaking Exchange Conference was grandly opened in Yinchuan.

In 2025, Ningxia’s economic and trade cooperation with the five Central Asian countries will achieve leapfrog growth, with bilateral import and export trade volume reaching 284 million yuan, a significant year-on-year increase of 126%; of which export volume is 165 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 78.4%.
From the perspective of trade structure, the cooperation between the two parties focuses on the real economy and meets people’s livelihood needs. Advantageous products such as mechanical and electrical equipment, fine chemicals, packaging products, and specialty fruits and vegetables continue to go out of Ningxia and sell well in Central Asia. This not only demonstrates the industrial competitiveness of Ningxia’s manufacturing and specialty agriculture, but also builds a core link for complementary resources and trade exchanges between the two places, laying a solid market foundation for subsequent all-round and multi-field cooperation.
