In the first two months of this year, my country’s machinery industry showed a good development momentum.
The reporter learned from relevant channels that during this period, my country’s machinery industry production and investment got off to a good start, the growth of production supply accelerated, market demand increased steadily, new productive forces grew stronger, and the economic operation got off to a strong start, achieving a good start.
From January to February this year, the added value of the five major industries mainly involved in the machinery industry maintained a year-on-year growth trend.
Among them, the general equipment manufacturing industry increased by 8.9%, the special equipment manufacturing industry increased by 8.8%, the automobile manufacturing industry increased by 3.4%, the electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry increased by 8.7%, and the instrumentation manufacturing industry increased by 7.8%.
It is worth noting that the equipment manufacturing industry grew well in the first two months of this year, with added value increasing by 9.3% year-on-year, 3.0 percentage points faster than the added value of all industries above designated size.
This shows that the equipment manufacturing industry plays an important leading role in the machinery industry, and its good development trend provides strong support for the growth of the entire machinery industry.
As the first year of the “15th Five-Year Plan”, the equipment manufacturing industry in 2026 will anchor the development in the direction of intelligence, greenness, and integration, and promote the construction of a modern industrial system with advanced manufacturing as the backbone.
