At the 25th China Industry Fair, Schneider Electric, with the theme of “Great Future Industry”, comprehensively demonstrated its innovative practices in helping industries accelerate digital intelligence and green upgrading, and presented industrial automation products, solutions and services empowered by cutting-edge technologies such as open automation, AI, and digitalization based on industry scenarios.

At the Industrial Expo, Schneider Electric used seven themed exhibition areas to comprehensively display its innovative practices in different industry application scenarios, including key links in the industrial value chain such as oil production and refining, fine chemicals and new materials, consumer goods manufacturing, packaging and logistics, water treatment and environmental protection, waste/waste heat power generation, and public works and construction.
“Schneider Electric China Software R&D Center has more than 200 R&D personnel. One of the highlights of our R&D layout is that we not only set up AI Hub artificial intelligence centers around the world, but also established AI innovation laboratories in China.” Ding Xiaohong, director, senior vice president and head of the industrial automation business in China of Schneider Electric Group, introduced that Schneider Electric displayed the updated and iterated EcoStruxure open automation platform (EAE) at the 2025 International Industry Expo booth.
With the continuous upgrading of the platform, EAE has already had very mature applications in various industries.
For example, the exhibition area showed a new generation of digital smart water plant based on software-defined automation, integrating the EAE open automation platform and the AVEVA system platform, running through the entire municipal water purification process, greatly improving engineering efficiency and reducing operation and maintenance costs.
Schneider Electric’s newly launched ATV Predict Plus transmission system predictive maintenance platform is embedded with AI algorithms and can perform intelligent monitoring and prediction in real time. With its three core advantages of zero new hardware and software, full link coverage and flexible deployment, it helps companies achieve more overall equipment control, less unexpected downtime losses and risk-free production continuity.

“At present, EAE has successful cases in many fields such as transportation, water systems, environmental protection, fine chemicals, logistics, etc. In these industries, we are accelerating replication with ecological partners. On the other hand, we are also constantly innovating in new applications such as integration with 5G and data centers.”
In addition, during the exhibition, Schneider Electric released a number of innovative industrial automation products and solutions, signed strategic agreements with a number of industry partners, and worked with partners to release “5G
+ Edge Computing” series of reports, “Open Automation Empowers Intelligent Factory Solutions,” highlights its important implementation results in technological innovation and ecological collaboration.
Schneider Electric’s display at this CIIF showed us the infinite possibilities of industrial automation empowered by cutting-edge technologies such as AI, and also provided new ideas and directions for the digital intelligence and green upgrading of the industry.
I believe that in the future, Schneider Electric will continue to delve into the field of industrial automation and contribute more innovative results to the development of the industry.
