He said that my country’s coal machinery equipment has taken solid steps in the high-quality development and achieved three major transformations from manufacturing to creation, from speed to quality, and from product to brand.
A number of major innovations such as 10-meter ultra-large mining height intelligent fully mechanized mining technology and equipment, intelligent coal preparation and coal mine robots fully demonstrate the high-quality development of my country’s coal equipment manufacturing industry, laying a solid foundation for safe and efficient production of coal mines and safe and stable supply of coal, and making important contributions to ensuring national energy security.
He also said that the Chinese coal industry is willing to continue to deepen exchanges and expand cooperation with the International Coal Organization, domestic and foreign enterprises, and all sectors of society to jointly promote the deep integration of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation in the entire coal industry chain, and help the coal industry develop toward high-end, intelligent, and green development.
In his speech, Lu Junling, chief economist of the National Energy Administration, fully affirmed the outstanding contributions made by the coal industry to ensuring national energy security, meeting economic development and people’s energy consumption since the “14th Five-Year Plan”.
He said that the intelligent construction of coal mines has been advanced in depth, and a number of world-leading iconic equipment such as drilling and anchoring integrated rapid boring machines, 10m ultra-large mining height fully mechanized mining equipment, and 300-ton mining trucks have been successfully put into use, promoting the coal industry to continue to achieve historic achievements and historic changes.
He pointed out that during the “15th Five-Year Plan” period, the coal industry must deeply understand the decisive significance of the “two establishments”, strengthen the “four consciousnesses”, strengthen the “four self-confidences”, achieve “two maintenances”, promote the deep integration of technological innovation and coal industry innovation, generate more new productive forces, and further promote the high-quality development of the coal industry.

Pei Wentian, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the National Mine Safety Supervision Bureau, comprehensively summarized the achievements of high-quality development of coal mine safety production during the “14th Five-Year Plan” period in his speech.
He said that the “15th Five-Year Plan” period is a critical period to promote the green and low-carbon transformation and high-quality development of the coal industry.

With the theme of “New Quality Empowerment, Intelligent Future”, this exhibition will build a high-level cooperation platform for the global mining equipment industry, promote the deep integration of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation in the entire coal industry chain, and help the coal industry develop towards high-end, intelligent, and green development.
It focuses on displaying technology and equipment achievements covering the entire industrial chain of coal production and processing, involving the latest equipment technology in cutting-edge fields such as intelligent mining, safe production, clean utilization, electromechanical power, open-pit mining and new energy applications. There are nearly 10,000 exhibits on site, and the physical weight of the exhibiting equipment exceeds 15,000 tons.
It attracted 1,200 well-known domestic and foreign companies from 18 countries and regions to participate in the exhibition. Among them, Germany, the United States, and Poland participated in the form of national pavilions. The number of on-site visitors is expected to exceed 150,000, and the number of exhibitors, exhibition scale, and exhibit content are all the highest in previous exhibitions.
It is understood that the China International Mining Exhibition has been successfully held for 20 times since it was first held in the 1980s.
