On January 31, 2026, the 2026 Bay Area Cross-border Alliance Annual Meeting was held grandly at the OAO Conference Center of Shenzhen Zhimei Town Cross-border E-commerce Industrial Park.
With the theme of “Intelligent Bay Area·Ma Yue New Journey”, this annual meeting attracted more than 200 guests, including alliance members, park benchmark companies, and cross-border e-commerce industry experts, to discuss new paths for the coordinated development of the cross-border e-commerce industry in the Greater Bay Area.
At this annual meeting, the Shenzhen Baoan District Cross-Border E-Commerce Association made its official debut for the first time, starting a new journey of empowering regional industries to go overseas.
Witnessed by all the guests present, the two core empowerment sessions of the annual meeting were successfully launched.
On-site, 11 core industry associations including the Hong Kong E-Commerce Federation, Macau E-Commerce Association, and Guangdong E-Commerce Association were awarded “Bay Area Cross-Border Alliance Joint Unit” plaques.
The joining of these 11 associations has further improved the alliance’s cross-regional collaboration layout and laid a solid foundation for the linkage of cross-border e-commerce industry resources in the Greater Bay Area.
At the same time, the “Guangdong Provincial E-Commerce Association Office” was officially unveiled.
This initiative will promote provincial industry resources to sink into Bao’an and radiate into the Bay Area, provide precise and professional service support for cross-border e-commerce companies in the region, and help local industries achieve high-quality development.
Shenzhen Baoan District Cross-Border E-Commerce Association, as the core organization of the industry that made its public debut for the first time, is supervised by the Shenzhen Baoan District Commerce Bureau.
It is a non-profit social organization voluntarily formed by cross-border e-commerce sellers, industry and trade integration enterprises, cross-border goods factories, cross-border palletizers, professional parks, service providers, research institutions, colleges and universities, mainly in Bao’an District.
Relying on the unique advantages of Bao’an District’s “strong supply chain + convenient cross-border logistics + advantageous industrial clusters” and the policy overlay dividends of the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone, the association is committed to building a cross-border e-commerce industry service platform of “resource integration, government-enterprise bridging, compliance empowerment, and ecological co-prosperity” to help Bao’an District become a cross-border e-commerce center in the Greater Bay Area with world influence.
In addition to the core aspects of industrial empowerment, the annual meeting also features a variety of activities such as acrobatic performances, cross talk performances, band singing, and lottery draws.
These activities deeply integrate professional industry exchanges with diverse audio-visual experiences, allowing guests to feel a joyful atmosphere while communicating and cooperating, creating an industry event that is both professional and interesting.
It is reported that the Bay Area Cross-border Alliance was initiated by Shenzhen Zhimei Industrial Group and jointly established by business associations and high-quality enterprises in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.
With its core mission of “integrating full-chain resources and empowering e-commerce in the Bay Area”, it coordinates the upstream and downstream resources of the industry, solves pain points such as dispersed industry resources and insufficient regional coordination, promotes the Bay Area’s cross-border e-commerce industry to achieve resource sharing, complement each other’s advantages, and develop together, and is committed to building an influential cross-border industry collaboration organization in the Greater Bay Area.
This joint unit award is an important practice for the alliance to deepen industrial collaboration in the Bay Area and build an open, collaborative and win-win industrial ecosystem.
The successful holding of this annual meeting has effectively condensed the consensus on the development of the cross-border e-commerce industry in the Greater Bay Area, achieved deep integration of government-enterprise linkage, cross-city collaboration, and resource aggregation, marking a new stage of collaborative development of the cross-border e-commerce industry in the Greater Bay Area.
