On May 28, the 2026 Ninth Machinery Manufacturing Engineer Technical Exchange Conference was held grandly at the Chongqing International Expo Center.
With the theme of “Embodied Intelligence and Science and Technology Innovation – Empowering Chongqing’s Advanced Manufacturing to Take a New Leap”, this conference focused on the in-depth integration of embodied intelligence and advanced manufacturing, attracting guests from all walks of life from government, industry, academia, research and use to discuss technological innovation, promote the transformation of results, and help the high-quality development of Chongqing’s “33618” modern manufacturing cluster.
This conference is co-sponsored by the Chongqing Engineers Association, Chongqing University of Science and Technology, Chongqing Mechanical Engineering Society, and Lijia International Intelligent Equipment Exhibition Organizing Committee, hosted by the School of Mechanical and Intelligent Manufacturing of Chongqing University of Science and Technology, Chongqing Qihui Lijia Technology Co., Ltd., and co-organized by Sichuan Mechanical Engineering Society, Chongqing University, Southwest University, Chongqing Jiaotong University and other Sichuan and Chongqing universities and industry associations.
A total of more than 80 universities, central enterprises, state-owned enterprises, enterprises and institutions have signed up to participate in the conference, with more than 200 participants.
The meeting was chaired by Professor Lu Zhongliang, Dean of the School of Mechanical and Intelligent Manufacturing at Chongqing University of Science and Technology.
Professor Wu Song, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Chongqing University of Science and Technology, Liu Ya, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Chongqing Engineers Association, Ms. Li Linjiao, Executive Deputy Secretary-General of the Sichuan Mechanical Engineering Society, and Professor Li Guolong, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Chongqing Mechanical Engineering Society attended the meeting and delivered speeches.
Representatives from universities such as Chongqing University, Chongqing Jiaotong University, Chongqing University of Science and Technology, Chongqing University of Arts and Sciences, representatives from local engineers associations in Dazu District, Yongchuan District, Jiangjin District, Liangjiang New District, Nan’an District, Jiulongpo District, as well as technical leaders and front-line engineers from Honghua Group, Chongqing Mechanical and Electrical, MCC Saidi, Chongqing Hongjiang Machinery, Hexagon and other enterprises gathered at the scene.
At the meeting, industry experts from Chongqing Electromechanical Intelligent Manufacturing, Xiamen Tianrui Technology, Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Chongqing Industrial Intelligence Technology Research Institute, and Honghua Group gave special technical reports on additive manufacturing, data security, robot precision inspection, embodied intelligent applications, intelligent drilling weight technology, and high-precision three-dimensional visual flexible measurement, sharing cutting-edge results and practical experience.
This exchange meeting achieved solid and fruitful results.
The conference accurately connected the industry’s cutting-edge technology trends with the development pain points of Chongqing’s manufacturing industry. Through multi-field expert sharing and multi-party exchanges and discussions between schools and enterprises, it effectively broke through the industry’s technical and information barriers.
All parties participating in the meeting had in-depth exchanges on advanced manufacturing new technologies, new processes, and new solutions, and successfully facilitated the docking of multiple technical cooperation intentions and experiences. It not only established a high-quality channel for front-line engineering and technical personnel to learn, improve, and communicate with each other, but also injected fresh momentum into the innovative development and technological iteration upgrades of the Sichuan and Chongqing machinery manufacturing industry, further consolidating the technology and talent foundation for the intelligent and high-end development of Chongqing’s advanced manufacturing industry.
This conference closely follows Chongqing’s “416” scientific and technological innovation strategy and the “33618” modern manufacturing cluster construction needs, and builds an efficient platform for cutting-edge discussions, technology docking, and experience sharing.
