On April 2, the 10th Shaodong Hardware and Electrical and Mechanical Expo with the theme of “Traditional Quenching New Fire, Hardware Starts Again” grandly opened.
This expo is of great significance. The total exhibition area of 50,000 square meters has attracted more than 1,280 domestic and foreign companies to participate in the exhibition, focusing on the innovative achievements and development trends of the hardware and electrical machinery industry.
Shaodong City, Hunan Province is known as the well-known “Hometown of Hardware” in China and has the largest hardware and electrical market in Central and South China.
The hardware industry here is booming. It has cultivated more than 3,500 hardware tool production and operating enterprises, has registered more than 1,600 hardware trademarks, and employs more than 50,000 people.
The annual production capacity of wrenches, pliers, hammers and other products reaches more than 300 million sets, among which the wrench output accounts for more than 70% of China’s market share, and the products are exported to more than 160 countries and regions.
Since 2017, Shaodong City has fully based on its advantages in the hardware and electromechanical industry and has continuously held hardware and electromechanical expos.
The expo has successfully built an industry platform for displaying hardware and electromechanical products, conducting business exchanges, promoting technical cooperation, and promoting project investment. It has gradually grown from a regional exhibition to a grand event for the national hardware and electromechanical industry, and has become an important platform to showcase the strength of “Shaodong Manufacturing” and promote industrial transformation and upgrading.
This expo has achieved a new breakthrough in scale, with an exhibition area far exceeding the 36,000 square meters of the ninth edition.
On the basis of retaining the traditional core exhibition areas of hardware tools and mechanical equipment, its booth layout has added three new special exhibition areas: Guangdong Electric Tools Hall, Water Pumps and Valve Area, and Import and Export Commodity Hall, building a full-chain, diversified display layout that can meet the purchasing and communication needs of different merchants.
The exhibition site was crowded and lively.
Buyers, dealers, and industry practitioners from all over the world shuttled between various exhibition areas. They carefully inspected products, actively negotiated cooperation, and enthusiastically exchanged experiences.
During the expo, in addition to exciting product displays and business negotiation activities, a series of rich and diverse activities will also be carried out around the development trends of the hardware industry, technological innovation, cross-border overseas expansion and other themes.
These activities will build an efficient bridge between exhibitors and merchants, help companies accurately grasp the pulse of the market, actively explore development space, and promote the accelerated transformation of Shaodong’s hardware industry from the traditional “manufacturing and processing” model to the “intelligent manufacturing-led” model.
The successful holding of Shaodong Hardware and Mechanical and Electrical Expo not only provides a high-quality platform for domestic and foreign hardware and mechanical and electrical enterprises to display and communicate, but also injects new vitality and power into the future development of Shaodong Hardware Industry. I believe that with the joint efforts of all parties, Shaodong Hardware Industry will usher in a more brilliant tomorrow.
