On June 22, the 4th China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo was grandly held at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing.
With the theme of “Global Chain, Global Sharing” at this Chain Expo, Youhe Group officially clarified the strategic goal of “linking 200+ countries and deeply exploring 35 domestic cities”, and simultaneously launched the “Global Partner Plan”, inviting state-owned assets platforms and industry leaders from many places across the country to participate to jointly build a new global circulation system for temperature-controlled agricultural products.
As the core entity of this cooperation, Youhe Group is a national 5A-level logistics enterprise and a leading enterprise in the field of frozen food imports in China. It is also the only group company in China that connects all links of the imported frozen food industry chain. It is mainly engaged in purchasing, agency and sales of imported meat (cattle, pigs, sheep, poultry) and aquatic products. Its import volume accounts for about 20% of the country’s total. It has ranked first in the industry for more than ten years in a row. It has been rated as one of the Top 500 Chinese Enterprises and the Top 500 Chinese Service Industry.
At present, Youhe Group relies on the “Youdingte” industrial Internet platform and a down-to-earth service team covering all provinces across the country to provide full-link efficient services for the import and export of agricultural products and the circulation of domestic agricultural products. Its mature industrial operation experience and full-chain service capabilities have injected strong momentum into this cross-regional cooperation.
At the signing ceremony of Youhe Group’s “Global Partner Plan” held in the Green Agricultural Chain Exhibition Area of this Chain Expo, Shantou Commercial Group, as one of the 16 representatives of national prefecture-level state-owned assets platforms and industry leaders participating in the cooperation, formally signed a cooperation framework agreement with Youhe Group to jointly build Shantou’s domestic and foreign trade integrated business service platform.
This signing marks the substantial implementation stage of cooperation between the two parties, and also means that Shantou has taken a key step in the process of linking the global supply chain of temperature-controlled agricultural products and building a two-way circulation hub.
It is understood that this cooperation is led by Shantou Commercial Group and jointly promoted by Shantou Comprehensive Free Trade Zone Management Committee and Shantou Supply and Marketing Cooperative. The two parties will focus on jointly building the entire regional smart cold chain and opening up the two-way flow of domestic and foreign trade.
We will accelerate the implementation of a number of demonstration projects in five core areas, including connecting channels, improving the full-chain empowerment system for agricultural products, innovating new cross-border trade models in comprehensive bonded areas, and consolidating the foundation for ensuring people’s livelihood and supply, to create a local and city model for the integrated development of domestic and foreign trade.
Shantou Trading Group will give full play to the advantages of the “Shantou Smart Cold Chain Logistics and Trade Center” project platform, smart cold chain facilities and localized operations, and deeply integrate its full-chain service capabilities into the cooperation to provide solid support for the efficient advancement and sustainable operation of the project.
