The Shanghai Computer Software Technology Development Center Industrial Intelligence Technology Institute (hereinafter referred to as: Shanghai Software Center Institute of Intelligence) team has innovatively built a four-in-one full-chain service system of panoramic research and diagnosis, intelligent transformation and upgrading, standard quantitative evaluation, and continuous iterative optimization. At present, the factory’s core key equipment’s numerical control rate and industrial networking rate have achieved double full coverage. There are more than 100,000 equipment data collection points across the field, and the average daily massive data processing scale has exceeded 1 billion.

In April 2026, Michelin Shanghai factory successfully passed the authoritative Level 4 Intelligent Manufacturing Capability Maturity Certification, winning the domestic tire industry’s first Level 4 intelligent manufacturing enterprise benchmarking honor, leading the new trend of intelligent transformation in the industry.
The Michelin Shanghai factory was founded in 2001. As one of the two core tire production bases of the Michelin Group in China, it is also the brand’s only manufacturing plant in East China.
The company mainly produces a full range of tire products for mid- to high-end passenger cars, with complete categories and specifications, and is widely matched with mainstream high-end automobile brands. It has outstanding market reputation and industry influence.
