Recently, Qingdao Senqilin Tire Company has started preparatory production for large-scale production at its tire factory in northwest Morocco.
The tire company broke ground on a $490 million factory 16 months ago.
Sen Qilin stated in its third quarter financial report that it will enter commercial scale production next year.
Annual production of car and light truck tires is expected to reach 6 million to 8 million in 2025.
It is expected that after reaching capacity, Sentury’s Moroccan factory will supplement the production capacity of its factories in Thailand and China, which will help support the rapid digestion of more orders.
It is understood that the second phase of investment will further increase production capacity to 12 million vehicles per year.
