The main body is about 15 meters high and the total length is nearly 30 meters. The fully enclosed giant equipment runs across the factory area. From raw materials entering the production line to finished products rolling off the production line, the entire process is automated and intelligent production. This is the first of its kind in the western Chongqing region.
Qiuye Machinery mainly produces automobile body and chassis parts, and is a first-class supporting supplier for leading domestic car companies such as Changan and Great Wall.
Faced with the demand for model iterations and product modifications, this production line has demonstrated the ability to “seventy-two changes”, relying on ground slide rails and overhead crane rails to quickly move, switch molds, and reorganize the production process.
Li Hao did some calculations and found that the intelligent production line saves a lot of material transfer and process connection losses, reduces production costs by 50%, and increases production efficiency by more than three times.
The total investment in this smart production line is more than 50 million yuan, which is more than 10 million yuan more than all the equipment in the old factory combined. However, it is this investment that allows the company to better adapt to customers’ needs for mass production, new product trial production and parts research and development. This year, it successfully won the trust of Geely Automobile and added another strategic cooperation with a domestic first-tier car company.

This envy from peers comes from the fact that the company replaced the old equipment with 8 drilling machines, 6 exposure machines, and 2 CNC gong machines at the beginning of the year.
The company’s comprehensive labor and material costs dropped by 10%, and it successfully received high-quality orders for AI servers and HDI high-precision circuit boards. In the first five months, it received 25 million yuan in new orders for the company.
Looking at Rongchang, this year, dozens of companies, like Qiuye Machinery and Xinkeyuan, have unlocked new prospects by relying on smart devices to “make major changes”.
The driving force behind this enterprise intelligent innovation is attributed to a national project – a large-scale equipment update project supported by ultra-long-term special government bonds.
According to statistics from the District Economic and Information Commission, since last year, Rongchang has coordinated the implementation of 143 million yuan in national subsidy funds, using the project as a guide, leveraging 41 companies to invest a total of more than 1 billion yuan to promote digital and intelligent technological transformation.
The “digital transformation and intelligent transformation” project covers the key industries of the “33X” modern manufacturing cluster system in the region. All high-end, intelligent, and green transformation and upgrading projects will be completed in batches this year and next.
