Recently, the environmental impact assessment report of the production line technical transformation project of Qingdao Tongda Rubber Co., Ltd. was officially accepted by the competent department. The project environmental impact assessment publicity period is set from June 15 to June 29, 2026, which marks that the project technical transformation work has entered the compliance advancement stage.
It is reported that this technical transformation project is located in Mingcun Town, Pingdu City, Qingdao.
The total investment of the project is 28 million yuan, the factory covers a total area of 10,276 square meters, and the existing construction area is 8,791.2 square meters.
It is worth noting that this project does not add new production land or expand product production capacity. It focuses on iterative upgrading of old production capacity to help enterprises transform into green and intelligent production.
This technical transformation focuses on the elimination of inefficient and old production equipment, and carries out all-round intelligent and energy-saving transformation of the existing off-highway tire production lines in the factory.
The project plans to add a total of 103 pieces (sets) of professional production equipment such as molding machines, winding machines, and vulcanizing machines.
Through the addition of these equipment, the production process can be optimized, production energy consumption and pollutant emissions can be reduced, and product accuracy, production safety and workshop automation levels can be improved.
After the technical transformation is completed, the production scale of the company’s entire factory will remain unchanged, and the annual off-highway tire output will remain at 18,000 tons.
