Data from the China Machinery Industry Federation shows that in the first two months of 2026, the added value of the five major industries mainly involved in my country’s machinery industry maintained a year-on-year growth trend.
Among them, the general equipment manufacturing industry increased by 8.9%, the special equipment manufacturing industry increased by 8.8%, and the automobile manufacturing industry increased by 3.4%.
The production and supply of various products has accelerated, market demand has increased steadily, and the machinery industry has achieved a good start.
The good development trend of the machinery industry is not only reflected in the domestic market, but also performs well in exports.
In the first two months of this year, my country’s construction machinery product exports amounted to US$10.686 billion, a year-on-year increase of 33.4%.
Among them, the export value in February exceeded US$5.1 billion, exceeding the average monthly export value in 2025.
This data fully demonstrates the increasing competitiveness of my country’s construction machinery products in the international market.
From the perspective of export regions, the export of construction machinery products to Africa increased by 77%, the export to Oceania increased by 50.6%, and the export to Europe increased by 28.1%.
The high growth rates in different regions reflect the extensive global demand for my country’s construction machinery products.
The demand for infrastructure construction in Africa continues to increase. With its cost-effectiveness and quality advantages, my country’s construction machinery products have gained more shares in the African market.
The demand for high-end, environmentally friendly construction machinery products in the Oceania and European markets is also growing. Chinese companies have actively responded to market demand, increased investment in research and development, and launched a series of products that meet local standards.
