Midea’s new smart home solution makes intelligence no longer “pretend”

国内智能家居市场规模虽不断扩大,但用户体验不佳问题突出。美的于2026年3月推出美享家全屋智能系统,直击行业痛点,以主动服务和贴心配套服务带来新体验。

Speaking of today’s smart homes, I believe many people have the same complaint: they look high-end, but they are full of shortcomings when used.
We obviously spent money to buy smart home appliances, but in the end most of them were reduced to decorations. The so-called “smart” is more like a superficial thing.

Nowadays, the domestic smart home market is developing very fast. In just ten years, the market size has increased from 62 billion yuan to 815.4 billion yuan, and the volume has become larger with the naked eye.
However, a booming market does not mean that the experience is adequate. Research shows that nearly 60% of users encounter various problems during use, and more than half of them simply give up on smart functions because of complex operations and poor experience.

Many smart homes on the market today are considered “pseudo-smart”, and the common faults are very obvious.
Each device works independently and cannot be linked. Voice commands are often recognized incorrectly, and the user’s living habits cannot be remembered. The entire process requires manual operation, and it does not truly free up hands at all.

Just in March 2026, Midea officially launched the new Meixiangjia whole-house intelligent system, which directly addresses various existing pain points in the industry.
This time, Midea did not simply superimpose functions, but comprehensively reconstructed the system from the bottom layer, changing the traditional smart home passive execution mode.

Relying on years of technology accumulation and strong R&D strength, this system is equipped with AI Xiaomei Butler as the core hub. All categories of its home appliances can achieve native linkage and truly provide proactive services.
When cooking daily, you only need to speak a simple word, and the kitchen lights, range hood, and kitchen appliances will start simultaneously; during the rest period, the bedroom lights, curtains, and air conditioners will automatically adjust according to your schedule. Even if you give vague instructions such as “a little hot”, the equipment can respond accurately.
At the same time, it can understand dialects and multiple compound commands. After long-term use, it will continue to learn user habits and become more comfortable with use.

In addition to the product itself, the supporting services are also very considerate.
Midea has more than 6,000 service outlets and hundreds of thousands of professional engineers across the country, and has launched a 24-hour flash installation service.
Installation does not require smashing into walls or additional wiring. It can be easily adapted to new and old houses and can be used normally when powered on, which greatly lowers the threshold for ordinary families to experience whole-house intelligence.

In my opinion, the core of smart home has never been to pile up high-tech equipment, but to make technology fit and simplify life.
Midea’s Meixiangjia breaks out of the industry’s inherent thinking and puts practicality first, making intelligence no longer a gimmick.
I also hope that in the future, more brands will focus on the real needs of users, so that whole-house intelligence can truly enter thousands of households and become a daily good thing that everyone can use and love.
