From September 16 to 18, 2026, the Almaty International Mining Machinery and Construction Machinery Exhibition (Mining & Metals Central Asia, Kazcomak), Kazakhstan, will be held grandly at the Atakent International Convention and Exhibition Center. This is an industry event not to be missed.
This exhibition is the largest, most professional and most influential dual-industry flagship exhibition of mining machinery and construction machinery in Central Asia.
It is jointly organized by ITECA Exhibition Group, a subsidiary of the British ITE Group, and the Kazakhstan Mining Association. It has also been officially endorsed by the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan and is an authoritative international trade platform certified by UFI.
The exhibition area is expected to reach 35,000 square meters, and will bring together more than 600 leading companies from around the world to participate in the exhibition, attracting more than 50,000 professional visitors, 70% of whom are procurement decision-makers, covering Kazakhstan National Mining Company, Eurasian Resources Group, PetroChina and other Central Asian core enterprises and international buyers.

As the largest economy in Central Asia and a core node country of the “Belt and Road”, Kazakhstan has more than 200 kinds of mineral resources. It is the world’s largest uranium producer (accounting for 40%), the second largest copper reserve country, the sixth largest gold reserve country, and the eighth largest coal reserve country. Its mining output value accounts for more than 28% of GDP, contributing 45% of the country’s industrial output value, and its resource endowment is among the best in the world.
Currently, the local market is facing triple dividends from the urgent need for equipment updates, the implementation of trillions of investments, and the deepening of China-Kazakhstan cooperation.
60% of the country’s mining equipment and 50% of the construction machinery have been in service for more than 8 years, and are aging seriously. The annual replacement gap reaches 15,000 sets, and the equipment import dependence exceeds 75%; 2026 –
Mining investment is expected to reach US$12 billion in 2030, and the “Bright Road” planned investment in infrastructure exceeds US$15 billion, which directly drives the demand for equipment. With its high cost performance and cold-resistant and dustproof adaptation technology, Chinese equipment accounts for 60% of the local mining truck market share and has become the first choice for Kazakhstan’s procurement. There are more than 60 cross-border cooperation projects between China and Kazakhstan, and the total investment exceeds US$70 billion.

Looking back at the 2025 exhibition, the exhibition area was 19,800 square meters, attracting 402 exhibitors and 5,710 professional visitors from 34 countries. Visitors covered 53 countries and regions around the world, and 20% of the exhibitors signed cooperation orders worth more than 50 million US dollars on the spot.
Previous exhibitors have had a strong lineup, with international giants such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Sany Heavy Industry, and Zoomlion all making their appearance. Chinese companies have won a number of large orders with their product advantages. Xugong Group’s 300-ton electric mining truck has won a five-year supply agreement for the Karaganda Coal Mine. Shandong Gold has obtained the mining rights for gold mines in eastern Kazakhstan through participation in the exhibition.
A number of industry forums will be held during the exhibition, focusing on cutting-edge topics such as intelligent mining and green mines, and building a high-end platform for technology exchange and resource docking for the industry.
