In the first five months of this year, Zhenjiang City exported a total of 3.67 billion yuan of high-tech products represented by aerospace technology, a year-on-year increase of 43.8%.
As the main force of Jiangsu’s exports, mechanical and electrical products exported 1.37 trillion yuan in the first five months, an increase of 28%, driving the province’s export growth by 19.3 percentage points, and accounting for 74.1% of the province’s exports, nearly three-quarters.

From the perspective of the market structure, Jiangsu Foreign Trade has achieved a transformation from a single company to a diversified one.
In the first five months, Jiangsu’s imports and exports to countries co-building the “Belt and Road” were 1.49 trillion yuan, an increase of 28.8%, driving the province’s imports and exports to grow by 14.3 percentage points.
Among them, imports and exports to ASEAN were 542.74 billion yuan, an increase of 27.8%.
In addition, imports and exports to the EU were 378.02 billion yuan, an increase of 17.2%.
