Recently, the “Caihui Jiangcheng·Knife Starts a New Journey-Special Action for Alloy Materials and Hardware Knife and Scissors Industry Experts to Enter Enterprises” was successfully held in Jiangcheng District.
This action was guided by the Talent Office of Jiangcheng District Committee, sponsored by Jiangcheng District Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, and organized by the “Talent Enclave” of Jiangcheng District (Guangzhou) Alloy Materials and Hardware Knife and Scissors Industry.
A research team composed of seven experts and doctors from the Guangdong Academy of Sciences, Guangzhou University, Guangzhou Institute of Navigation, and Guangdong Ocean University visited four industry typical enterprises: Yangjiang Shunhe Industry and Trade Co., Ltd., Yangjiang Huahong Hardware Products Co., Ltd., Yangjiang Fangling Hardware Beauty Tools Co., Ltd., and Yangjiang Weilong Knife and Scissors Co., Ltd.
These four companies respectively represent the production fields of hand tool trolleys, kitchen hardware, cosmetic tools and knives and scissors, and have distinct industry benchmark significance.
Focusing on common technical problems such as magnesium alloy processing, metal heat treatment, mold repair, laser cladding, etc., the expert team went deep into the workshop to conduct on-site diagnosis.
At Shunhe Company, experts proposed processing optimization plans for magnesium alloy molding; at Huahong Company, they discussed rapid repair of kitchen hardware molds and demonstrated application scenarios; at Fangling Company, they exchanged methods for low-cost steel surface modification; at Weilong Company, they focused on controlling the microstructure uniformity of laser cladding edges, and some suggestions were adopted by the company on the spot.
After the technical visit, the District Industry and Information Technology Bureau held a discussion with the expert team.
Experts analyzed the industry development direction from three dimensions: material structure and performance control, surface modification, rapid manufacturing and repair.
It is pointed out that microstructure control can improve the life of the cutting edge, vacuum coating can solve the pain points of surface hardness and corrosion resistance, and laser cladding repair can reduce mold costs.
Based on the difficulties such as aging industrial equipment and lack of talents, the District Industry and Information Technology Bureau introduced the construction of enterprise technology centers, talent introduction policies and industry-university-research collaboration measures, and made it clear that it will rely on the “talent introduction enclave” to carry out regular expert sinking, forming a closed loop of “enterprises asking questions, experts answering questions, and the government assisting questions.”
This operation provides precise intellectual support for the alloy materials and hardware knife and scissors industries in Jiangcheng District, helping traditional industries to accelerate towards high-end, intelligent and green industries.
In the next step, Jiangcheng District will continue to drive industrial transformation with innovation and promote “Yangjiang Knife and Scissors” to move towards a world-class cluster.
