Haier Smart Home debuts at Tianjin Smart Expo, ushering in a new era of customized AI life

On May 28, 2026, the 2026 World Intelligent Industry Expo was held in Tianjin. Within the AI Core Technology Pavilion (Hall N31), the Haier Smart Home exhibition area showcased a customized AI-driven lifestyle that transforms the home into a "living ecosystem of scenarios," continuing to lead the development of smart homes through cutting-edge technology, interactive capabilities, and an integrated ecosystem.

What can AI bring to life?
Some people say it is a smarter voice assistant, and some people say it is a more versatile networking function. But for most families, the most ideal way to integrate AI into life is to eliminate the need to worry about trivial and repetitive “little things” in person.
Even before “needs are generated”, we have already done it for you.

On May 28, the 2026 World Intelligent Industry Expo (hereinafter referred to as the Smart Expo) with the theme of “Smart Traveling the World and Powering the Future” was held in Tianjin.
The 130,000-square-meter exhibition area brings together more than 700 companies such as Huawei, Tesla, Yushu Technology, and Zhangxue Motorcycles, presenting the latest picture of the integration of AI and the real economy in an all-round way.
In the N31 Artificial Intelligence Core Technology Pavilion, the Haier Smart Home Exhibition Area is giving another answer to AI life – turning the home into a “scenario life body” that can sense, think and act, allowing “customized AI life” to move from ideal to reality.

Customize your AI life, not “passive control” but “active care”

Many people talk about smart homes, and their first reaction is “you can use your mobile phone to remotely control the appliances at home.”
But in the Haier smart home exhibition area, almost no one poked around with their mobile phones.
Every space here presents the same experience: the device actively observes, learns, and predicts, and appears “just right” whenever you need it.

For example, the smart entrance scene.
The demonstrator stood in front of the door. The smart door lock of the Seeker series detected that the hostess had returned home through AI biometric technology and quickly unlocked the door. When the door was opened, the light had been adjusted to her favorite warm yellow, and the air conditioner automatically turned on for 23°C cooling.
According to the demonstrator, Haier Smart Home can open home and leave scenes with one click, and can also accurately identify each family member and “customize” exclusive scenes for them: for example, children will automatically turn off the TV when they come back, and the elderly will automatically brighten the lights when they return home to prevent blurred vision.

Other scenes are equally fast and considerate.
In the living room, the staff said, “Xiaoyou, Xiaoyou, we have a guest.”
As soon as the words were spoken, the lights softened, the speakers started playing brisk music, and the TV screen automatically switched to a dynamic art gallery. No one picked up the remote control or took out their mobile phones during the whole process. In the kitchen, the Seeker series hood can identify the concentration of oil fumes. When the stir-frying occurs, the hood automatically lowers and increases the suction power. It can also “understand” the situation in the pot and automatically reduce the heat when it is found that there is a risk of overflowing. When we finish a table of delicious food, the dining scene will be automatically triggered the moment we turn off the stove, and the chandelier in the restaurant slowly lights up.

From the entrance to the living room, from the kitchen to the balcony, this “highly autonomous” smart experience appears in every space of Haier Smart Home, fully explaining the true meaning of “customized AI life”: every device is not waiting for your orders, nor will it only execute established procedures, but can provide proactive services for “thousands of people” through observation, learning, and prediction.

Leading technology, interaction and ecology: turning the home into a “scene life”

Why can Haier smart home bring such a smooth and natural experience?
The core lies in the leading support in three aspects: technology, interaction and ecology.

First, AI Eye technology makes Haier smart home products “smart” enough.
The Seeker series, the industry’s first L4-level smart home appliance displayed this time, is fully equipped with AI Eye 2.0 technology.
The logic of traditional intelligence is “sensor monitoring → triggering instructions”, which is essentially conditioned reflex.
But the AI eye is “living”, which is the key to why the product can “perceive by itself, judge by itself, and adjust by itself”: for example, the hood can not only reduce the firepower when the pot overflows, but can also adjust and balance it step by step to a “boiling but not overflowing” state; and Seeker’s latest product, the air-washing A900 air conditioner, can always pay attention to changes in air quality and automatically turn on purification, humidification or fresh air in real time.
It can also understand “who are you”. When the elderly and children call it, the wind will be softer and avoid the wind.

Second, “3D Home View” makes the interaction of Haier smart home “convenient”.
This is the industry’s first digital twin 3D smart home function certified by the China Household Electrical Appliances Research Institute.
It restores the real home environment 1:1 to a three-dimensional virtual space. Users no longer need to search through the device list, but can directly click on the refrigerator, air conditioner, and lighting in the 3D model to complete the control.
Moreover, this system can also automatically generate “one-click scenes” based on user habits: turn off the device and enable arming when leaving home; turn on fresh air and hot water in advance when returning home.

Third, a sufficiently large open ecosystem is the key to Haier’s smart home being able to break out of the “family boundaries”.
It builds a “people-car-home-community” full-scenario ecosystem.
In the car, you can check the status of your home equipment and turn on the air conditioner in advance; when walking in the community, the smart door lock will push a reminder that your child has arrived home safely; after going out, the sweeping robot will automatically start and the windows will automatically close.
These seamless connections across scenarios do not rely on the power of a single device, but the real-time understanding and resource scheduling of the entire ecological AI system’s user location, habits, and needs.

When these three supports are put together, the logic becomes clear: AI eye technology gives products the ability to “perceive and adjust”, 3D home view solves the pain point of “interaction and control”, and open ecology “breaks the boundaries of smart life”.
Together, they build a “scene life body” that can perceive, think, and act.

Ten years of hard work: Continuous leadership from smart home to smart life

Many people don’t know that this year is the 10th anniversary of the release of Haier’s smart home strategy.
If you count the time Haier Smart Home embarked on this road, it has been a full 20 years.

In 2006, when the industry was still discussing what the “Internet of Things” was, Haier Smart Home used U-
home took the lead in laying out; in 2015, Haier Smart Home officially released its smart home strategy; in 2021, Haier Smart Home Brain was released, precipitating AI capabilities into an evolvable core platform; in 2025, Xiaoyou intelligent agents and “AI Eyes” black technology were unveiled, and proposed the long-term goal of “unmanned housework”… Today, Haier Smart Home has achieved a comprehensive layout from smart home appliances to smart homes and smart life.

During this period, smart home trends have changed one after another, but no matter which stage, Haier Smart Home has always been at the forefront of the industry and the times.
In March this year, Euromonitor International, the world’s authoritative research organization, announced a certification: Haier Smart Home became the world’s number one company in terms of smart home sales.
Behind the data is the real user scale: as of 2025, the cumulative number of registered users of Haier Smart Home worldwide has exceeded 130 million, and the number of smart scene interactions throughout the year has reached 86.1 billion, with an average of more than 7 billion times per month.

In China and the “Belt and Road” countries, the HaiSmart ecological platform has more than 13 million active users, more than 6,600 ecological partners, and more than 55 million connected devices; in Europe, the United States, and Australia, the SmartHQ platform has brought together more than 4.6 million active users, more than 6,500 ecological partners, and more than 21 million connected products.
These figures mean that Haier Smart Home has become the smart home life platform with the most complete scenarios, the best experience, and the deepest interaction in the world.

But more important than numbers is Haier Smart Home’s in-depth insight and advanced understanding of user needs.
As for the future, Haier Smart Home has once again given its own answer through practice: the next step of smart home will not be just “home”, but will evolve into a warm living body that can sense your emotions, remember your habits, and actively share household chores with you.
