As an equipment manufacturing project that is a key investment attraction in Guiyang County, it only took the company two months from signing the contract to putting it into production.

On June 1, walking into the Hunan Lion Machinery production workshop, workers were busy producing mining machinery and equipment such as accessories welding and assembly. After the inspection of this batch of mining equipment orders is completed, they will be delivered to mining areas such as Guangdong and Jiangxi.
Leon Machinery mainly produces underground mining equipment and auxiliary vehicles, and produces 12 types of mining equipment such as scrapers, crushing trolleys, and anchor lever trolleys.
In October 2025, the company invested and started business in Guiyang through attracting investment, and it was officially put into production at the end of December. Currently, one production line can complete the production of one mining equipment in three days.
“When we negotiated business in Guiyang before, we felt the preferential treatment of the local business environment. Last October, our company transitioned from trade to production and chose Guiyang as the location for production.” said Hu Shanlin, deputy general manager of Hunan Lion Machinery Co., Ltd.
Currently, the company’s production orders are scheduled until September, and 30-50 machines will be delivered in the near future.
When it comes to follow-up development, Hu Shanlin said that the company plans to produce mining equipment such as new energy, lithium batteries, and 5G intelligence. It is expected that the production line will be completed and put into production by the end of this year.
