On April 24, an exchange event focused on the high-quality overseas expansion of the green building materials and smart home industries was held during the Canton Fair. Numerous international buyers engaged in in-depth discussions with Chinese enterprises to explore new pathways for global expansion, helping these companies advance more steadily and successfully in the global market.

On the afternoon of April 24, a meaningful event – the “High-Quality Overseas Exchange Event for Green Building Materials and Smart Home Industry” was held during the Canton Fair.
The event was co-sponsored by the China Foreign Trade Center Group Co., Ltd. and the China Chamber of Commerce of Minerals, Minerals and Chemicals Import and Export. It attracted more than 30 international buyers and trade service agencies and more than 100 Chinese companies, a total of more than 230 representatives, to conduct in-depth exchanges in the form of a ‘forum + docking’, becoming a highlight of the trade promotion activities during this Canton Fair.

In his speech, Jiang Hui, Chairman of the China Chamber of Commerce of Minerals, Minerals and Chemicals Importers and Exporters, pointed out that global green and low-carbon transformation and smart technology are profoundly reshaping the industry landscape.
my country’s green building materials and smart homes have formed a complete and efficient supply chain, and the products have become synonymous with high quality, green intelligence.
This event features pragmatic docking and aims to find good partners for good products and help companies move from ‘going out’ to ‘going more steadily and further’.

During the international cooperation promotion session, President Herrera of the Colombian Chamber of Construction delivered a speech on the theme of ‘South America: Strategic Engine for Housing, Technology and Sustainable Construction’, analyzing in detail the growth potential of the Latin American market.
He said that the Colombian Construction Chamber is willing to become a permanent bridge between China’s production capacity and Latin American demand, promote mutual recognition of standards, certification assistance and pilot project development, and establish distribution channels without high-cost middlemen.

Ihsan, President of the Turkey-China Business Development and Support Association, promoted Türkiye and Eurasian market opportunities on the spot with the theme of “Co-building a green building materials industry chain in the Eurasian hub”.
He believes that driven by the wave of green transformation and digitalization, Turkey is accelerating urban renewal and upgrading of seismic standards, and the demand for environmentally friendly building materials, energy-saving systems and smart technologies has increased significantly.
China’s advanced manufacturing capabilities and technological advantages, combined with Turkey’s rich project development experience and regional hub status, are expected to jointly build a strong green building materials and smart city industrial ecosystem in the center of Eurasia, thereby providing convenient access to the Middle East, North Africa and European markets.
He looked forward to the two countries’ enterprises moving from ‘co-production’ to ‘common growth’ and working together to create an integrated value chain.

The event released the “High-Quality Overseas Research Report on China’s Intelligent Bathroom Industry”, which systematically interpreted the current development status of the industry and the path to overseas expansion.
The report points out that China’s smart bathroom industry is standing at a historical turning point from “going out” to “going up”. From the traditional growth model that relies on low prices, OEMs, and policies, it has officially entered a new stage with quality, brand and compliance as the core.
At present, China’s smart bathroom still has four core advantages: the world’s leading full industry chain advantage, which can achieve efficient one-stop support; rapid product innovation capabilities, thermal constant temperature, antibacterial and sterilization, AI intelligent sensing and other functions have become popular; the global channel network for online and offline collaboration is gradually improving; independent brands have collectively awakened, and more and more companies are moving from behind the scenes to the front, firmly transforming to the OBM model that integrates design, production, and branding.
But at the same time, enterprises also face challenges such as trade barriers and insufficient localization capabilities. Enterprises need to achieve breakthroughs in four major directions: technology, brand, channels, and compliance.

Lin Jin, a senior expert in the sanitary ware industry of the Chamber of Commerce of Minerals and Minerals, shared the theme of ‘Global Market Analysis and Prospects of the sanitary ware industry’.
He believes that enterprises must complete three major changes from “going overseas” to “deep cultivation”.
In terms of products, there is a shift from manufacturing to creation, that is, from pure product output to value creation based on local needs.
In terms of branding, it has shifted from invisibility to the mind, and from the invisible role of OEM to the brand role of building the user’s mind.
In terms of operations, we shift from cross-border to local, and from long-distance cross-border trade to deeply integrated local operations.

The event also invited Chen Wei, Vice President of Sophia Home Furnishing Group, and Qi Enliang, Chairman of Weifang Guoyi Aluminum Co., Ltd., to share their experience in green intelligence and overseas expansion, and conduct a round-table dialogue on the topic of “Discussing New Paths for Going Global and Collaborating Together.” Leading industry organizations such as China Construction Engineering Bureau, China Construction Expo, China National Inspection and Testing Holding Group, and China National Building Materials Materials had in-depth exchanges on overseas paths, overseas project procurement, international standard docking, and overseas warehouse layout.

More than 30 international buyers from South America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and other regions, Guangzhou Customs, CCIC and other agencies conducted in-depth docking negotiations with more than 100 companies.
The person in charge of Eventure Trading Company, an overseas buyer, said that the products, prices and services of Chinese companies are very good. They come to the Canton Fair all the way to find suppliers who truly understand their needs and can cooperate with them in a long-term and stable manner. The technology of China’s green building materials and smart home products is very mature and cost-effective, which is very attractive to overseas buyers.
