“This production line is the core of our first-phase project, with a designed annual production capacity of 20 million square meters.” Zheng Kuanyou, general manager of Gansu Dayu Waterproof Technology Development Co., Ltd., pointed to the production line.
Up to now, the company has produced a total of 37.2 million square meters of waterproofing membranes, achieving a total industrial output value of 700 million yuan.
But this is only the beginning of the story.
“The first phase is mainly about coiled materials of asphalt products, and the second phase is mainly about coatings. In the later period, we are also developing and producing waterproof materials suitable for home decoration.” Zheng Kuanyou said that Gansu Dayu Waterproofing currently has the most comprehensive product system and the largest scale in the northwest region, and is one of the enterprises with the most full-category production capacity in the entire northwest.

The main product of the third phase of Gansu Dayu Waterproofing Project is polyester base fabric, which is the core raw material for waterproofing membrane production and is widely used in waterproofing materials, municipal engineering, home decoration, clothing industry, housing construction and other fields.
“Currently, there is no manufacturer of polyester tire base fabric in the northwest. Our third phase project has introduced advanced production technology and equipment imported from Germany. It is one of only two bases with this technology among the five production bases of the whole group, and it is also the first company in the northwest to produce this raw material.” Zheng Kuanyou
