Exports will pick up in the first four months of 2026, and the leading cross-border payment company will continue to make profits.

In the first four months of 2026, my country's goods trade showed a positive trend, with exports recording significant growth. The improved outlook for foreign trade benefits the cross-border payment industry, and Lianlian Digital—a leading player in the sector—is well-positioned to reap continued benefits thanks to its multifaceted strengths.

Data recently released by the General Administration of Customs shows that in the first four months of 2026, the import and export situation of my country’s goods trade is improving.
The total import and export value reached 16.23 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.9%, and the cumulative growth rate was basically the same as in the first quarter.
Among them, export performance was particularly outstanding, reaching 9.33 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 11.3%; imports were 6.9 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 20%.
In April, my country’s total import and export value of goods trade was 4.38 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.2%.

As the foreign trade boom continues to rise, this positive trend will be accelerated to the cross-border payment industry.
Payment plays a key role as a “financial channel” in global business transactions.
When the frequency of bilateral or multilateral trade exchanges continues to increase and the scale of transactions gradually expands, more rigid needs such as currency exchange, cross-border collection and payment, and fund settlement will inevitably arise.
The increase in these demands will undoubtedly benefit the revenue and profits of the cross-border payment industry and bring new development opportunities to the industry.

Among the many cross-border payment companies, Lianlian Digital, as the leader in cross-border payment listed on the Hong Kong stock market, is expected to significantly benefit from this rebound in foreign trade.
The company officially obtained the Canadian MBS license in April, which expanded its global payment license and compliance qualifications to 67.
It is worth mentioning that Lianlian Digital is the only domestic digital payment service provider with a U.S.-wide currency transfer license, which has laid a solid compliance foundation for it in the global cross-border payment market.
