How hard-core are factories that make switches, connectors, and precision refrigeration components?
Today I walked into Dongguan KKG Yanghan’s automated production workshop and recorded the entire process from mold opening, precision stamping, automatic assembly to full inspection and shipment. Only after reading this did I understand the standardized intelligent manufacturing strength behind high-quality components!
Many practitioners in the procurement and electronics industries value two things most when choosing components: independent production capabilities and full-process quality control.
Many manufacturers on the market only do assembly and outsource core molds and metal accessories, and the quality varies.
KKG Yanghan has created an integrated production workshop of Mold R&D – Precision Stamping – Automated Assembly – Performance Testing, with independent control of the entire process. Today, I followed the camera on an immersive tour of the factory to dismantle a complete production line of components.

1. Self-developed mold workshop: the source of product precision, rejecting outsourced OEMs
The first stop of the workshop is the core mold processing area, which is also the technical moat of the factory.
Rows of CNC machining centers, EDM spark machines, and wire cutting equipment operate stably 24 hours a day. Mold engineers independently complete the entire mold design, roughing, finishing, polishing, and mold trial process based on the drawings of switches, terminals, coding switches, and TEC supporting structural parts.
The master holds a precision micrometer to repeatedly calibrate the tolerances, and the accuracy of key mold parts is controlled within 0.01mm. A new set of molds is completed in-house from design to trial production, without the need for outsourcing.
The advantages are visible to the naked eye: independent molds can quickly respond to customer customized modifications, and the mold modification cycle is shortened by half; mold loss and process parameters are fully controllable, and common problems such as part size deviation, mold jamming, and molding burrs are avoided from the root, and the consistency of mass production is improved.
2. Fully automatic stamping production line: high-speed metal parts forming, stable, efficient and labor-saving
Passing through the mold area is the large intelligent stamping workshop, which is also the core section of structural parts forming.
Multiple high-precision and high-speed punching machines are combined with automated manipulators to automatically load stainless steel, copper strips, and phosphor bronze raw material coils without the need for manual hand-feeding. The robotic arms automatically pick up, transfer, and unload materials, and continuously complete multiple processes of cutting, bending, punching, and riveting. A piece of precision conductive terminals and metal shrapnel can be produced in a few seconds.
The entire production line requires only one technician to debug. Compared with traditional manual stamping, the production capacity is increased by 3 times, while avoiding scratches, dimensional errors, and safety hazards caused by manual operations.
The stamped metal parts are uniformly transferred to the electroplating pre-treatment area for standardized degreasing and polishing to ensure conductive performance and oxidation resistance.

3. Dust-free automated assembly workshop: closed-loop assembly line operation to reduce human errors
The stamped metal accessories and plastic parts are uniformly sent to the closed dust-free assembly workshop, which is a key link in the molding of finished products.
Multiple circular automated assembly lines are arranged in an orderly manner. Automatic feeders, transplanting manipulators, screw locking mechanisms, and injection molding auxiliary machines operate together. Components such as shrapnel, base, shell, and contacts are automatically aligned and assembled, replacing a large amount of manual assembly.
For different products such as KKG DIP switches, DC sockets, connectors, and temperature control supporting components, each production line is equipped with exclusive tooling jigs, and unified standards for assembly strength and alignment position systems are preset to eliminate problems of manual assembly with uneven tightness and assembly misalignment.
The workshop strictly implements anti-static control, and all operators wear anti-static clothing and bracelets to protect precision conductive components from static electricity damage.
4. Multiple full inspection processes: each product must pass the customs clearance before it can be put into storage
Complete assembly does not mean it is completed. KKG Yanghan has set up three-level quality inspections to control the whole process of traceability:
- Appearance visual inspection
: Industrial cameras scan from multiple angles to automatically identify scratches, missing parts, deformations, color differences and other defective products, and automatically divert and reject them; - Electrical performance testing : Continuity, resistance, withstand voltage, plug-in and pull-out life, and temperature control adaptability are tested one by one, simulating real usage scenarios such as vehicle-mounted, medical, base stations, hair removal devices, etc.;
- Sampling aging test
: The finished product is placed in a high and low temperature aging cabinet, and the stability is tested in a long-term cycle to screen out products that are prone to failure after long-term use. - All inspection data are entered into the system simultaneously, and mold numbers, stamping batches, production line stations, and inspection records are bound one by one. If there is a problem, the entire process can be traced with one click, and the process can be optimized from the source.
5. One-stop full-link production brings real advantages to customers
After walking through the entire production line, you can understand the core competitiveness of integrated intelligent manufacturing:
- Controllable delivery time: Molds, stamping, and assembly are all produced in-house, without relying on outsourced factories. Rush orders and customized orders can be quickly scheduled to shorten the delivery cycle;
- Stable quality
: The entire process is under unified control, with a closed loop of tolerances, materials, and testing standards, and the quality of large-volume shipments has minimal fluctuations; - Flexible customization: Owned mold workshop, which can quickly change the structure and size according to customer needs, and supports customization of special components for industrial, vehicle-mounted, and medical equipment;
- Cost Optimization: Eliminates the need for multi-channel outsourcing processing differences, and has higher cost performance for the same quality, and has obvious advantages in long-term large-volume procurement.
Nowadays, KKG Yanghan’s one-stop automated workshop covers DIP switches, power sockets, precision connectors, and semiconductor refrigeration supporting components. It supplies domestic industrial control, vehicle electronics, medical beauty equipment, and communication base stations. It is also exported to overseas markets in batches. The integrated intelligent manufacturing model has also become the core advantage of industry differentiation.
The real confidence of the manufacturing industry is never gorgeous publicity, but a complete production chain that is visible and can be photographed.
From independent mold opening and intelligent stamping to fully automatic assembly and multiple quality inspections, KKG Yanghan firmly controls every process of component production in its own workshop, using automated and standardized production to control quality.
If you are an electronics procurement or equipment manufacturer and need stable and reliable precision switches, connectors, and cooling supporting components, such a full-link self-produced factory is worthy of on-site inspection and docking!
