In the context of the accelerated digital transformation of the global heavy equipment manufacturing industry, mining equipment is the core equipment supporting mineral mining and infrastructure projects, and the intelligent upgrading of its production end has become a key direction for the industry to enhance its core competitiveness.
Recently, a mature digital twin AI agent visual management and control system has been officially implemented in domestic modern mining machinery manufacturing plants, providing a new technical path for refined management and control of the entire production process.
When you walk into the production control center of the factory, what is displayed on the large arc-shaped command screen is not the traditional static production flow chart or scattered data reports, but a dynamic three-dimensional scene mapped 1:1 with the physical production line. The real-time operating status of the production line, the processing parameters of each process, and the progress information of the work-in-progress are all intuitively presented in the twin scene.

This system covers 28 core production processes from steel plate cutting, precision machining, surface treatment, core component assembly to complete machine assembly, and factory inspection. The entire production line has more than 3,000 high-sensitivity data collection points, which can simultaneously collect full-dimensional production indicators such as temperature, pressure, vibration, processing accuracy, and stress parameters. The data transmission delay is controlled at the millisecond level, ensuring that the synchronization accuracy between the digital twin scene and the physical production line reaches 99.99%.
When the pressure fluctuation of the production line’s hydraulic system exceeds the set warning threshold, the equipped AI agent can complete fault mode identification within 10 seconds, match more than 2 million pieces of historical production fault data for cross-analysis, and simultaneously complete multi-dimensional virtual stress testing in a virtual twin scenario. It can automatically adjust 15 core stress parameters without offline production shutdown and debugging, increasing fault handling efficiency by more than 90% and avoiding raw material losses caused by parameter deviations.

In addition, the system is equipped with a combined sensing matrix composed of vibration sensors and thermal imagers. Engineers can visually view the real-time stress distribution of key components of each equipment on the three-dimensional visualization interface without the need for offline disassembly and inspection. Combined with the trend prediction ability of the AI algorithm, potential problems such as metal fatigue and component wear can be predicted 48 hours in advance, and preventive maintenance can be carried out in advance.
Data show that after the implementation of this system, the factory qualification rate of mining equipment increased from 92% to 99.7%, and the failure rate during the product service cycle dropped by 65%. At the same time, it can reduce production energy consumption by more than 30% and shorten product delivery cycle by 22%. It provides solid technical support for domestic mining equipment to expand the global market and enhance core competitiveness. It also provides a reference implementation plan for the intelligent upgrade of the entire heavy equipment manufacturing field.
