CMOC obtains patent for ore flow regulator to improve mining efficiency and safety

近日,洛阳栾川钼业集团股份有限公司获得“一种放矿漏斗流量电动调节器”专利,该专利可自动调节放矿漏斗流量,减少故障与隐患,且公司在采矿技术领域有多方面专利成果。

On April 18, 2026, information from the State Intellectual Property Office showed that Luoyang Luanchuan Molybdenum Group Co., Ltd. successfully applied for a patent called “An Electric Flow Regulator for a Draining Funnel”. The authorization announcement number is CN224137655U, and the authorization announcement date is April 17, 2026.
The application number is CN202521153292.2, and the application date is June 6, 2025.

This patent is of great significance.
The patent abstract shows that the utility model belongs to the technical field of mining auxiliary equipment.
Specifically, a baffle is movably connected to the discharging end of the guide chute, a gantry is provided across the guide chute, and a driving mechanism for driving the baffle up and down is provided on the gantry.
Several weight sensors are arranged at intervals below the conveyor belt, and the controller can control the start and stop of the driving mechanism based on the information transmitted by the weight sensors.
Under the action of the driving mechanism, the baffle can rise and fall vertically relative to the material guide chute to adjust the amount of material or to stop the ore, thereby realizing automatic control and adjustment of the flow rate of the ore funnel.
This innovation does not require workers to be on duty for long periods of time, greatly improving work efficiency.

After the put into use of Luoyang Molybdenum’s ore funnel flow electric regulator, it has brought many positive impacts.
It prevents the overload failure and shutdown accidents of the conveyor belt conveyor, improves the situation of disorderly spilling of materials, reduces the labor intensity of workers, and eliminates potential safety hazards.

CMOC was established on December 22, 1999 and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange on October 9, 2012. Its registered address and office address are both in Luoyang City, Henan Province.
It is the world’s leading molybdenum producer. Its core business covers molybdenum, tungsten and other rare and precious metal-related businesses. It has the advantages of the entire industry chain and has great investment value.

Luoyang Molybdenum is mainly engaged in the mining, smelting, deep processing, trade, scientific research, etc. of rare and precious metals such as molybdenum, tungsten and gold. It also involves metal trade and the import of related materials and equipment.
The company’s Shenwan industry is non-ferrous metals – industrial metals – copper, and its concept sectors include nickel concept, cobalt-nickel and molybdenum concept.

In 2025, China Molybdenum’s operating revenue will reach 206.684 billion yuan, ranking 3/5 in the industry. Although it is lower than the 544.623 billion yuan of Jiangxi Copper, the first place, and the 349.079 billion yuan of the second place Zijin Mining, it is higher than the industry average of 268.323 billion yuan, and is the same as the industry median.
Among the main businesses, refined metal trade accounts for 49.95%, mineral metal trade accounts for 37.18%, etc.
In terms of net profit, it will be 24.027 billion yuan in 2025, ranking 2/5 in the industry, second only to Zijin Mining’s 63.822 billion yuan, higher than the industry average of 20.667 billion yuan and the median of 7.468 billion yuan.
