Chinese tire brands are accelerating to seize high positions in the global value chain

英国品牌估值机构发布报告显示中国6家轮胎品牌入围全球轮胎榜,赛轮、玲珑等表现亮眼,中国轮胎品牌正加速进入全球头部竞争圈层,且在全球供应链重构中提升韧性和话语权。

Recently, Brand Finance Group, a brand valuation agency headquartered in London, UK, released the “Top 25 Most Valuable Global Tire Brands in 2026” report. The report reveals the latest pattern of global tire brands, in which Chinese tire brands have performed well and are accelerating to seize high positions in the global value chain.

The report shows that from a global perspective, Michelin, Bridgestone, and Continental continue to rank among the top three in the list, which shows that traditional multinational giants still maintain their advantages in high-end brand recognition, channel systems, and technology accumulation.
However, the breakthrough of Chinese brands in key echelons has important structural significance.
A total of 6 Chinese brands have been shortlisted for the global tire list, occupying the first place in the list.
Among them, Sailun Tire ranks tenth in the world in terms of brand value, and its brand value growth ranks second in the list; Linglong Tire ranks 12th in the world. These have become important symbols for Chinese tire brands to accelerate their entry into the global competitive circle.

The tire industry connects many fields such as automobile consumption, transportation, engineering construction and basic people’s livelihood.
Currently, China’s automobile production and sales have ranked first in the world for 17 consecutive years. The production and sales of new energy vehicles have exceeded 16 million units, and domestic new car sales account for more than 50%.
Such a huge automobile market provides a broad scenario for tire brand technology upgrades and application iterations.
At the same time, against the background of rising global trade protectionism, raw material price fluctuations and increasing regionalization of supply chains, Chinese tire companies are actively responding to challenges.
They have enhanced their ability to respond to changes in global market demand through overseas production capacity layout, localized operations and international channel construction.
This not only provides market-based support for maintaining the stability of the industrial and supply chains, but also enhances its own resilience and voice in the reconstruction of the global supply chain.

Yideng Chen, President of Brand Finance Group China, said: “In the future, competition in the global tire industry will no longer be just production capacity competition and price competition, but a comprehensive competition centered on material technology, green and low carbon, intelligent manufacturing, brand trust and global service networks. Chinese tire brands already have the ability to continue to enhance brand value in the global mainstream market.
Foundation.
As Chinese companies continue to promote open cooperation and innovation, Chinese tire brands are expected to play a greater role in reshaping the value of the global automobile industry chain, injecting new momentum into building a manufacturing power, promoting the quality and quantity of foreign trade, and enhancing the international communication power of Chinese brands.”

In general, the rise of Chinese tire brands in the global market is the result of a variety of factors.
The huge domestic market provides it with a foundation for development, while its active overseas layout and innovation capabilities have gradually made it stand out in global competition.
In the future, Chinese tire brands are expected to achieve even better results on the global stage, adding new luster to the development of China’s manufacturing industry.
