Recently, the Taxation Bureau of Xiangqiao District, Chaozhou City and the Chaozhou Branch of the People’s Bank of China held a special policy training for ceramic export enterprises in the jurisdiction.
Through the combined guidance of “policy interpretation + operational guidance + on-site Q&A”, it aims to help enterprises accurately grasp the new export tax policy, effectively prevent tax-related risks, and escort the smooth transition of foreign trade business.

At the beginning of the training, the business backbone of the Chaozhou Branch of the People’s Bank of China gave a special explanation on the “Recording of Beneficial Owner Information of Business Entities”.
Combining practical cases, they conducted a detailed breakdown of the filing process, filling specifications and common problems.
The relevant person in charge of the branch pointed out that this filing is not only a legal requirement, but also can help enterprises reduce risks such as money laundering and fraud, and improve their credit and financing convenience.
Subsequently, the business specialists of the Xiangqiao District Taxation Bureau focused on the export value-added tax policy that enterprises are concerned about.
Huang Jia, a lecturer from the tax source management unit, took the actual operation of the ceramics industry as an entry point and explained the core of policy adjustments, the differences between the old and new and the key points of risk prevention in a simple and easy-to-understand manner.
He uses plain language and practical examples to translate professional policies into easy-to-understand, actionable guidance.
Huang Jia said: “We hope that enterprises can not only enjoy the preferential treatment with peace of mind, but also be solidly compliant and jointly support the high-quality development of Xiangqiao’s foreign trade.”

After the special explanation, the scene entered a lively question and answer session.
Corporate financial personnel have raised questions, such as “The invoice corresponding to the export taxable customs declaration has been issued, does it still need to be confirmed for purpose?” “For the export taxable customs declaration obtained in April, the electronic tax bureau pop-up window prompts ‘New taxable customs declaration, please confirm in time’, but there is no data on the interface after clicking, how to deal with it?” “Do the same customs declaration involving taxable and non-taxable items need to be invoiced separately?” etc.
Huang Xiaochun, the business backbone of the Tax Affairs Unit of the Xiangqiao District Taxation Bureau, was surrounded by people. She patiently answered each question one by one and accurately eliminated taxpayers’ doubts.
Miss Liu, a financial staff member of Chaozhou Qingfa Ceramics Co., Ltd., said: “The training is timely and the content is intuitive. It is much easier to understand than just reading the policy provisions.” The training from the tax department helped the company clearly understand the changes from the previous “export tax rebate (exemption)” to the current “export taxable” for some ceramic products. It also analyzed practical operating guidelines to give the company more direction in its subsequent tax declaration.
The implementation of policies must not only be “spread widely”, but also “accurately implemented.”
Since the implementation of the New Deal, the Xiangqiao District Taxation Bureau has quickly relied on tax big data to accurately target relevant enterprises, established a policy liaison mechanism, and built an online and offline three-dimensional counseling network.
Through online push of “policy gift packages”, offline special training and “one-on-one” counseling, it has directly connected with more than 70 ceramic companies, distributed more than 50 materials, and answered more than 30 inquiries, ensuring full coverage and effective policy counseling.
The relevant person in charge of the Xiangqiao District Taxation Bureau said that the taxation department will continue to pay attention to the May tax declaration node, guide companies to complete export taxable business declarations, and provide full tracking services to ensure the smooth implementation of new policies and worry-free business operations.
